Heck, I'd be up for going someplace! I lived in Miami for a while... that'd be cool, but its so far away from practically everyone. I'm currently in Cincinnati... Maybe we should gather a list of suggestions and have a vote on it?

I would not be able to stand exercising without something to occupy me, and sometimes I'll use my phone - I'll put it sideways on the book stand and watch a movie or TV show while I work out.

The problem with that is all movement cause the phone to skitter along the stand; making me nervous that it'll fall down if I run too hard.

I've learned to carry a thick rubber band in my purse to wrap around one edge of the phone when I do this. The rubber band provides enough friction so that the jostling of the machine doesn't cause my phone to "walk" along the ledge. I can't wait to watch on a 3.7" screen.

I'm going to be a bit irritated if that's the case. They offered this to me a couple months ago and I jumped on it also, however they didn't say anything about the contract extension. I don't mind the extension so much, more the not telling me about it.

Well the contract extension was 1 year- so I had already committed to two years when I got my hubbys phone- I will be doing two years again when the incredible comes out and by the time the kids upgrade comes up I am sure they will want new phones so....... it goes on and on so no biggie there.

Edit: but yes he was very upfront about the 1 year extension

yes. if you ever have a doubt about something or feel as if you might have missed something, Anonimac does a great job of keeping all the specs up-to-date on the evergreen thread.

The 8GB moviNAND was not just confirmed through sources and documentation, but by a contributor here that had his hands on the device long enough to do a device dump (hence confirming here first that the processor was not in fact underclocked) and to take some screenshots confirming the device's onboard memory being a separate entity from the removable memory.

Several credible posters have confirmed that the Incredible WILL have 8GB of moviNand despite the UG not listing it. Only time will tell but it looks like it will have it.
 
I know its off topic....but did KC just beat Boston? *runs and hides in his closet*

Just so I feel like I made an attempt at posting something constructive. For my Ipod I have an FM transmitter. Are there any available that work with HTC phones? Id rather just drop my Ipod just so I don't have to deal with it all while keeping my phone charged. If not has anyone heard if there are any in the making? I kinda assumed there are....but you know what happens if you do that.

yep there sure are. I also have a motorola blue tooth device that clips on my sun-visor - it transmits to my car stereo or has it's own speaker- was around $100 bucks but I think it's cheaper now
This also works for my Itouch so no need for two devices for different connections

Also, my husband and I don't come close to out minutes. But it's because of the MyCircle or whatever VZW calls it. The 700 plan doesn't have any MyCircle numbers and without unlimited calling to those numbers....yikes!
 
Wow!!!!! This sucker is really slowing down. It is the weekend though and I firmly believe this thread has a couple more bursts of activity left before the Incredible is released and it's shut down for good. Just bring me that damn phone already and we'll start a new thread about all the killer shit the Incredible does. AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Actually what the are referring to in the last tag line is probably the new NFL Redzone exclusive.

Here are the two images for you to compare. I tried to get them down to about the same size for comparison sake:

The original photo, although it looks photoshopped (because it was, but more than likely by VZW themselves) was confirmed independently by several different sources. Anonimac had his sources here, and a few of the blog sites that check sources instead of regurgitating information in their blogs and on twitter, also confirmed the picture with the box "Top Secret Codename: 6"

The hole that it has broken through is identical from one picture to the next...the only difference is the size of the blast on the right, and the placement of the box-corner.

However...I think that is only important if the messages weren't in fact confirmed by several different people as being authentic...and just the way he/she received it.

Nope, MS Pink phones is the big announcement on Monday- not seeing Verizon also announcing another new device. It would be silly, since Incredible deserves it's own presser.

In regards to the thread, it's deceleration can be attributed to the same info spinning around. It will pick up when concrete info is released (leaked or confirmed). Monday will be a major letdown for those expecting an Incredible presser.

BTW, if reports are that the 8gb built in and memory comes up as two drives, the 8gb is not app memory. The Android savvy here should know app space does not list as a drive. One of the sources reporting info needs to open up the storage info and see what the app space is. Probably about 250mb free (like Droid, though perhaps less space, due to 2.1).

I'm pretty convinced that the Incredible will NOT be announced on Monday so Microsoft can show us their Pink!!?!! lol They don't want to share the limelight. But is sounds like "the journey begins on Monday" which may mean we will get a bunch of announcements for various Verizon phones all next week. Bring me the Incredible!!!!!!!

You might be right, but as big of a football fan that I am, I can't see Verizon hyping up NFL Mobile Live in time for the Draft (which I don't even watch after the first round). Makes more sense to do that when the season is actually about to begin and the majority of fans are paying attention.

I agree. The journey is just beginning. I think there will be more announcements. Just maybe not all of them on Monday. Wouldn't be much of a journey if it was just the one day.
