Help HTC Magic sim free unlocked?????

I am looking to buy one of these sim free handset only from the UK, anyone give me any ideas where????? :confused::confused:
 
CodeMonkey's suggestion of eXpansy's is good , I've used them before to buy stuff.

I know you can get it on Amazon too sold by eXpansy's for

Really need to know this before I get one, as I don't really want to change networks :confused::confused::confused::confused:

i got mine from ebay from Ecell & it was really reasonably priced. Mines the Black HTC Magic, some of its in chinese but works fantastically.
Only problem with Ecell is they make you wait 7 days for funds to clear before they ship due to fraud.

I'm with o2 & have unlimited wap (

Some of the Apps like Market Place & Google Mail are in Chinese. But they are still useable i've downloaded a fair few apps off market place.

The black Magic has 288mb ram instead of 192mb of the Voda Magic. Market Place works fine with O2 unlimited Wap.

I think its an absolutely fantastic phone & the chinese bits are a little annoying but they haven't stopped me using the phone. Absolutely love it, best phone i've ever had i'd say.

Yep mine's on O2 contract SIM (with unlimited data bolt on) and I use the marketplace etc without any issues. Updates also come through ok.

Thanks Aidan, you have helped me a lot, and I appreciate it!!

I doubt I could put up with part of the fone being in foreign though.... Is there no way this could be sorted out? :):)

That's great news, and does the Push Email through the in built Google Mail work OK with the O2 Sim and the unlimited Data bolt on!!

Sorry to sound silly but these are all the answers I would like to know before I get one! :):)

Yep the gmail push works fine (barring o2 network data issues of course)
 
I've got the HTC magic(unbranded/unlocked) But I don't have marketplace. How would I go about in getting this installed?

Market is a core app on the phone ...

Where did this phone you have come from ... if it has been wiped and some ROM Build installed and excluded Market ...
that may be why ....

So in your apps Tray ... of all the apps that are there ... you dont see Market ??

1.) Model Number ? ___________
2.) Firmware Version ? ___________
3.) Baseband Version ? ___________
4.) Kernel Version ? ___________
5.) Build Number ? ___________

Also do you have a T-Mobile Data plan on your
PayAsYouGo or FlexPay Plan? ________________

Carrier ? _______________ (we know some are also Unlocked so not Just T-Mobile)

Country you are using your phone in ? _______________ (we know that not everyone is from the US)

Is the phone SIM registered in T-Mobile as the Correct phone?
T-Mobile Customer Services can tell you that and make
any necessary corrections so that it is properly recognized
when connected. <<< BEEN THERE DONE THAT !!! AND ...

I have 2 Phones and one is On FlexPay. It would NOT Work
right when I recieved the SIM because it was NOT set to
match the Settings on my T-Mobile account.

I am not familiar with MAGIC builds ... so i can say ... but maybe some of our MAGIC gurus will kick in ...

Have you done a Factory Reset
