Root Anyone here using cm10.1 ? WILD FOR THE NIGHT

Loving it. Flash the sprint version . Use the virgin mms fix. Only issue is GPS. But he says he has a fix in the works. Also camera crashes if you use the hardware Button to open. Just open the app from lockscreen or app drawer

what kernal are you using? ;o
 
Used the VM version with no problems what so ever. Mac AOSP kernel and GPS is broken but didnt experience any other issues with light regular use
 
the only issue i found is that locking the screen is a bit laggy, other than that i love the rom alot! a little laggy but its really good. right now im still thinking wether i should go with midnightrom jelly bean cause that rom is pimpin or stay with cm10.1 dastin
 
I've been rocking it for a couple days now, and it seems to have different small issues with different people. But overall, I have made it my daily ROM, and I have been through most of them in the past 2 weeks.

If only there was a way on ICS roms to skip the initial slide circle and go direct to the lock screen as in CM10, love it

ive been getting great battery life, ive been getting great battery for most of the jelly bean roms on here, but it all depends on how you use your phone. I personally think im gonna go back to midnightromJellybean for its insane battery life and smoothness :)

I only had this for 2 hours (: & i gotta say its sooo good (: might even make it my daily driver

So that kernel didn't break anything? I had thought about flashing the dirty Mac kernel to it but thought I heard flashing other kernels caused issues.
 
I used dastin's CM10 for about 2 or 3 weeks before flashing 10.1 (1/23/13) and kept it for three or four days. Used the included kernel with both ROMs.
CM10 is smooth as hell. Zero hiccups, perfect battery, an all around amazing ROM. But with 10.1 there was just small, annoying problems that just weren't there in CM10. Auto rotation seemed to lag and take forever, the keyboard and camera glitched out sometimes, and the lock screen lost some of it's cohesiveness with the CM feel. Zero stability problems on 10.1, I didn't have random reboots or FCs.
It's not dastin's fault, but the CM10.1 just isn't up to my Daily Driver standards just yet. Flashed back to CM10 a few days ago and it's just simply better right now. I'm sure as 10.1 dev continues, it will become amazing!
 
I use dastins cm10.1 sprint version
Problems I've had were random reboots and sometimes it would just stay on boot animation and i would have to reflash again...but i love cm10.1 is so cool i hope all these bugs go away any time soon..
