hey guys
T_ don't know why but the dialer on my note2 is very Slow and UnsatisfIng.
I tried using other rom rather than the Stock and now I'm using Omega but still it takes him about 4 sec to open dialer/Contacts and the Scroll is laggy.
how Can I fix this problem without dl another dialer?

I'm experiencing the same issue but in other phone, and also in and older Galaxy Mini.
You have active the google contacts sync? I think that's the reason.
Or Have you found a fix for this?

I have the same issue and also experienced it with my Blackberry Pearl, iPhone 4s as well as other smartphones. True, it's unsatisfying but I'm finding that 4-5 sec is pretty much the norm. At least I have those extra seconds to cancel the call if I need to before it connects. What do you think?

My dialer takes about 2 seconds to open and my contacts take about 3 seconds. No real lag for me at all while dialing or scrolling through. Bone stock.

I keep reading about dialer delay, but I am not really seeing it. I do get a small delay, but only about 0.5 sec maybe 1 sec at the most. It could be because I only have about 120 contacts?

Those of you experiencing slowdowns, try the good old recovery menu cache wiping.. that can make things a bit more snappy throughout the device, not only the phone but any app or widget that has been used. 3rd party cache clearing apps don't seem to capture all the remnants the way the recovery "cache wipe" can.

- Hold three buttons down at once: Volume Up + Home + Power

- Wait past the Galaxy Note (in white) logo for the Android robot to appear

- Quickly release all three buttons at once

- The menu items will be in small blue fonts

- Use the volume down key to navigate to the "wipe cache" item

- Press Power briefly

- Wait for the process to finish

- The default selection will now be "reboot"

- Hit Power and allow the reboot
