The Tablet Tavern

We had a remote install on our server at work last week. The guy doing the install was in the US (can't remember where at the moment)... he said it was +5 degrees... we said "that's warm... it's minus 5 here and snowing!" he then told us it was +5 Fahrenheit... minus 22 centigrade... now that is cold!

Mind you... I have friends in Helsinki and they told me it was minus 32 centigrade over the weekend!!

-32 you'd be frozen. Your house would want to have some good heating system.

On another note Dog or towel :p

It's been down to -32C here as well, although it's rather warm today.-8C, and -13C at night. Almost Spring. Places that have that sort of temp all winter, they're used to it an it's not a problem.

It seems like the United Kingdom has serious problems as soon as it drops below zero with a minor sprinkling of snow.

Not sure but is pneumonia were the lungs fill up with fluid?

My doctor told me I have NORA virus which is a commuting bug. But I haven't been vomiting just feeling extremely unwell. Maybe I should get a second opinion. I reckon its just the flu.:o

Nope the noravirus is a separate bug.:(

My main symptom is a lot of coughing (especially in the morning) followed by quite a bit of chest and back pain with heavy breathing and coughing. Problem is, it's been going on for nearly two months. :(

Watching episode 1 of Kitchen Nightmares. This can't be real. No way a restaurant runs this way.

If that's Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmares then that's a good show. Sometimes seems a bit far fetched though.
