Root [International] Omega rom help!!!??

Okay so I finally managed to flash Omega ROM. But there's an app for Omega Settings, how do I add effects like the CRT effect. I have downloaded it but how do I enable it. I downloaded it and when I click it nothing happens I just get few options e.g. to open as a file in file viewer

Boot into recovery, then 'install zip from SD card', then 'install from internal SD card'. Find the zip you want to install and then follow the instructions :) if its a cosmetic mod then it will take a couple of seconds to install and after that you can reboot
 
...although, the things I said are basic things that rooted users need to know. I'm surprised you managed to get as far as you have today without understanding them

Might I suggest you read the links in teh sticky thread to get some background and ask us about things you don't understand before progressing any further today?

LOL I followed a video series to root and flash a ROM so I don't know much about rooting :) And I will keep in mind :)
 
Dunno. I dont use Omega. Possibly the CRT file also contained battery icons. Is there not a battery mod in the kitchen?

But yeah you need to understand the terms "Flashable zip" and "recovery" ;)

Well that was just me being stupid. I found out, it turned yellow due to low battery lol :)
 
hahah thats funny. My preference would be red for low battery so I wouldn't have guessed that.

But i struggle not to type my regional form of text speak on forums like this lol and a lot of people do use the word "teh" intead of "the" deliberately man :)
 
I physically struggle. I don't do text speak. The question is answered and the matter closed
