Looks like I picked a good time to check in on the thread... thanks for the photos Viper!

For the record, I don't see this little red circle thing everyone is talking about. I think you've all gone mad from waiting for this thing to drop and started to hallucinate. At least that's what the voices tell me.
 
Viper, I'm LOVING the new pictures, Thank You VERY much! Any chance you can grab pictures of JUST the phones in each of these screen shots rather than the whole page.

These are PLENTY of course and definitely not worth getting in trouble over but a closer picture of the actual picture of the phone may clear up and confusion (I for one don't see any circle)

Exactly! I sent a PM to viperboy but apparently there was an itchy trigger finger. In the future for things like this we should really take a few more minutes to do this right so this thread can get the credit because you know these pics are gonna get internet-raped in minutes.

So please, for future reference, please PM me or another mod and have it watermarked. My email address is Anonimac@gmail.com. Just PM me to know you sent me the email...not my primary email.

We can still do this, but i'd have to ask twospirits to just delete the other posts. Let me know.
 
Maybe the "optical" joystick works using a camera which can also be used as a front facing cam. That wouldn't be hard to pull off. :p

The pics look like they were shot thru a screen door, how anyone is seeing detail is beyond me, dont get me wrong I am glad to have them, but if your looking for detail you need clearer pics.

I understand that...has nothing to do with what i'm saying. My comment is about watermarking. I can have that turned around in minutes with Phases and the owner Rob and then they're posted in a way that gives this thread credit.

I cropped, autoenhanced, and zoomed in on the "circle" as I too saw it in the hptos posted by Viper. Upon closer inspection it looks just like noise in the picture.

Okay i hate to be a debbie downer here, but that watermark is in a great spot to simply photoshop out. I know engadget or gizmodo would never do something like that but some other sites that just want to steel info might.

Hello everybody, long time lurker here, but in relation to your statement about a frontside camera I believe that "circle" on the left is probably a proximity censor for when you're talking with someone on the phone and the screen will turn off :) I just had to answer because No one else had gotten it yet ;) Just my $0.2

That circle is probably where the person who photoshopped these photos messed up when they put the Verizon logo in.;):D

(The smilies mean sarcasm)
