Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] HELP!!!

hey to anyone ,well let me get straight to the pont i have the metro pcs galaxy s3 and i flashed a rom that was intended for the sprint version of the s3,when i did i noticed that i had to signal so i went back to stock but when i did i didnt get 4g data and now in any rom i get no 4g i get SLOW 3g so anyones help will be much appriciated

If you did an nv backup you can restore it that way you get your data working back

Install that. Open it and make a shortcut under activity. Scroll all the way down and choose the first iohiddenmenu. open iohiddenmenu from your homescreen and turn on 4g.

I don't think the stock rom has that option.

for my network type it doesnt say lte/cdma/edvo
it says EvDo-Rev.A:8

I think you can access that under settings on the stock rom but I'm not sure. If you can get to its, change it to the option that has LTE in it or you won't get 4g

well i tried it but no luck and if by turn on 4g you mean force 4g then yea i did it if not try to be a bit more detailed

if you didnt do a nvbackup flash metropolis rom, enter the hidden menu and use the ##rtn# option it will wipe your device of programming, when it reboots *228 and it should reprogram your device

on metropolis rom its not hidden, not sure on how to do it on ics

hey shabby i tried installing metropolis rom and i couldnt, it kept sayin failed,can i do what you said through stock or any other rom cause i really miss my 4g

im on metropolis, the only other rom it will work on is stock ics. cm and other aosp based roms dont have access to the hidden menu stuff for phones.
