Did anyone else notice that the testman site is all screwed up? The page does not have any deals on the main page. Is that something recent? Hopefully they are working on changing it to the incredible

It works. just login your online account on the regular verizon wireless and then try to open testman and you'll see a new layout with the ads

The more I look at the other pictures, the more I think it's just picture noise. I can see similar distortions in the other pictures.

im just glad i get the 25% job dicount thru verizon on acessories and living in tax free NH should bring the price of the entended battery down to just a few dollars more than the standard! haha woohoo

should i set up a paypal account to get all you incredible accessories? haha jk jk

but seriously jk haha

ABSOLUTELY NO WAY it will be released tomorrow...

What makes you say that? Verizon has been known to just come out with phones, and coming out with it at their stores a couple weeks before best buy gets them certainly isn't unheard of.

I'm not saying I think it's coming out tomorrow (I don't), but I don't think it's absolutely impossible.

so how do you think the announcement will go tomorrow... hey guys microsoft wants us to release there new pink pile of crap so we are sorry about wasting your time.... but if you want a sweet phone we will also be having the incredible for you on the 29th of april for all you that need a smart smart phone

So do we think that the Incredible could even just be flat-out RELEASED tomorrow? Any possibility? Or are we pretty sure it's just the release date announcement?

I only ask since I have the day off tomorrow. Would be nice...

We can always dream, right? (I'm hearing "dream the impossible dream..." tune in my head)

Sprint told me in NE Arkanssas that they have data on Verizon out side their 3G coverage but not at 3G speed.

Your are correct...I can't believe it but it's now true.

Months after Verizon (and Alltel) allowed Sprint phones to SMS when you are roaming. It seems today that Sprint phones can now roam on Verizons data network. As far as I can tell there are no additional data roaming fees if you subscribe to Sprints unlimited

If it was to be released tomorrow (which I'm doubting even getting an announcement), I think it would be only online, unless you can find another example of a phone being announed/available at the same date. HTC Ozone is the only phone I can think of where it was announced/available at the same time, and that was only avialable initially online.

That extended battery cover doesn't look that bad. Sure as hell beats the touch's (it used to be flat in the back.

Wish the battery were a little cheaper though...

Man, the back of that thing looks about big enough to be the sole of someone's shoe.

If I'm not mistaken, these two items MUST be purchased together. correct?

It doesn't look like it. All the other ones I've seen have been a packaged deal and not listed separately. This is great though. Once one back gets scratched up you can just buy another one for a few bucks. It also looks like the new back doesn't add much depth to the phone. Which would probably stop me from getting one. I want it to be as slim as possible.

I wonder how big of battery sedio can make that will fit into the extended battery cover.

I was wondering the same thing. They were able to bump the N1 battery a couple hundred mAh without affecting the size. I think I'd be happy with that much of an increase.

I can confirm that data roaming is working in New York, and it seems to work nationwide if your EVDO phone has the PRL 20225.

If you are a Sprint user, please drop a comment to confirm it is working for you.

I thought this had been covered before. Verizon's footprint pretty much benefits Sprint users. You will get data wherever Sprint isn't but Verizon is, but it will be 1xRTT (2G) data speeds, not EVDO (3G). It's synonomous with GPRS (slower than EDGE) vs HSPA for GSM users. It's really about two orders of magnitude slower --> PAINFUL.

Have you SEEN the huge back for the N1 3200mAh battery? That thing is huge! :(

Yeah, the battery is ok to go third party, but the back cover is usually better if it comes directly from Verizon.
