It doesn't look like it. All the other ones I've seen have been a packaged deal and not listed separately. This is great though. Once one back gets scratched up you can just buy another one for a few bucks. It also looks like the new back doesn't add much depth to the phone. Which would probably stop me from getting one. I want it to be as slim as possible.

So... does the 2150mAh battery in Viperboy's list fit under the phone's existing battery cover??

Have you SEEN the huge back for the N1 3600mAh battery? That thing is huge! :(

It is freaking huge. That battery is also like taking the extended life battery, from Viper's pics, and mashing it together with the battery that comes stock. It's a 2400 mAh increase from the N1 stock battery. The Incredible extended battery shouldn't be anywhere near as large.

If it's like the Eris, proly up to 1750. Not sure which way I'd go at this point. Might give the standard battery a try before deciding..

That's with the standard battery cover, but with Verizon's Extended Cover which Verizon can get 2150mah out of, Sedio might be able to squeeze 2500mah in there. With the contoured back, the extendo cover doesn't look that off putting.

So... does the 2150mAh battery in Viperboy's list fit under the phone's existing battery cover??

I'm pretty sure it won't fit under the regular cover, and will need the extended cover, but maybe sedio can make an even better battery, and all we'll need is the back cover.

I wasn't kidding. I like the screen size. As I get a bit older (51) I need reading glasses more and more, so bigge is better. Besides, if you look at the youtube demo of the hd2, sense ui has it pretty much hidden.

I do need Android, however, because I use my Gvoice almost exclusively, and the Android OS makes it veeeery easy to call with it. Gvoice is a free call on my family free call number list, so I hardly use minutes. :)

So, I'm not too dumb for Android, but I'm kind of tipping my hat to another fine phone, that's all. :)
I was just joking. :p Every time I see an HD2 commercial I want to use that 4.3'' screen and the awesome Sense UI for WM!

Is there anyway we can leak a high res new picture? Pretty please

Not to happy with those cases I'll probably just hold out and see if Bodyguardz membrane comes out for it.

I'm more interested in the Docks which hopefully will be leaked soon

I thought this had been covered before. Verizon's footprint pretty much benefits Sprint users. You will get data wherever Sprint isn't but Verizon is, but it will be 1xRTT (2G) data speeds, not EVDO (3G). It's synonomous with GPRS (slower than EDGE) vs HSPA for GSM users. It's really about two orders of magnitude slower --> PAINFUL.

It's vise versa two, if there's no Verizon coverage but threes Sprint coverage verizon phones can use Sprints towers if their included towers in the provisioning agreement.

It would be nice but I seriously doubt it. With the pic of the cover we can only assume that it is for the new battery. Like I said it doesn't look like much of a size increase so it shouldn't be that big of a deal. The only thing I worry about is the back fitting perfectly like the one sent with the phone. I've had problems with after-market backs before. However this one seems to be made by HTC or at least the battery does.

The question is: Will the 2150mAh battery in Viperboy's list of accessories fit under the phone's existing battery cover?

I'm pretty sure it won't, and will need the extended cover, but maybe sedio can make an even better battery, and all we'll need is the back cover.

Viper established that the extra battery cover we've seen IS for the extended battery and its a tad different than the existing one.

Sorry, I'm just quite confused now.

That's the one reason I hesitate to buy an extended battery is because the covers usually don't live up to the original back cover, but if you can get an official extended battery cover, I'll seriously consider getting an aftermarket battery.

Ouch. Well, thanks for pointing that out to me as I just rechecked after logging in, and got the same prices at you. $70 difference. Doesn't seem fair that new customers get the better deal here

We could add another line to our account and move are number to it and put a dumb phone on the other line. This would be like adding a new account, then we can turn around and cancel the dumb phone line. Maybe, this would word to get a better price and we can upgrade in a year. The big thing for me on a 1 year plan means I will not need the extended warranty saving me 7 dollars per month. Total saving of 84 dollars minus 70 dollars= 14 dollars to the good.

I am not sure if this would work and hopefully somebody who works for Verizon on here can help with this.

Well crap... which one is right?

They are both right in relation to the extended battery pictured. It will need the back. If Seidio decides to make a battery for it we will have to wait to see if that one will fit or not. The battery pictured and the one that Seidio might produce are two different things.

I totally agree. I'll make them let me put it on the phone before I buy it. I'm not going to spend $70 for it to look bad or not stay on.

Nah, I'm good. It has several things against it. They are:

1) it is Wm. 6.5
2) Screen is not Amoled
3) It is on T-Mobile. I need VZ because I run my business off the cellphone and need 100% coverage.

So don't worry about me.

I am going to go to 4.3" in the future sometime, though. ;)

You had me at "it is Wm. 6.5".
