Root ROMS with 3D

I have a few questions.. 1 : could I get a list of roms with working 3D? Also does anyone know of any ROMS with the screen cap function? Like hold the power and home button at the same time. I appreciate all of you guys hard work c: Thanks. I have 2 more questions.. any roms besides CM that have the screen off animation like an old tv? And does cm9 have working 3D
 
I believe ALL of the ICS based sense roms have 3d working, I'd give you a list, but there is way too many for me to try. sorry. :P They have to be on sense 3.6, I believe. I don't think sense 4.0+ has 3D working.

All of the roms available should have the screenshot option since they're all running ICS or JB.

Only AOSP and the AOKP roms have the tv animation

and no, cm9, cm10, nor cm10.1 have, or will have, 3D working on them. Sorry. ):
 
No problem! I personaly will/have never had a reason to use the 3D. So as soon as I got S-off, I jumped over to a non-sense rom. I just checked and you can also use MIUI with 3D. You just need to make sure you're S-off'd and have turned your phone into an 3vo.

If you mean the ICS Sense Based MIUI yes 3D will work but its a super memory hog Sense + MIUI = average less then 100 MB Free Ram ............ So the Phone will be slowed down considerably
 
I just tested the latest MIUI ICS release by DH and i must say, its quite sexy. Completely different from any android system ive ever ran. Performance was very acceptable with pre OCable kernel and memory management was pretty decent as well. Mine was not sense based tho I do not believe, just ICS. I want to incorperate some of its features/functionality into a sense 3.6 rom if even possible. Way above my level of knowledge, but im learning

Which is a real shame. I like MIUI, but it being such a memory consumer I had to opt out
 
Anything sense 3.6 based will have working 3D.

There are TONS on XDA that now support the Evo V by team d3rp. I've used most of those, and they are great ROMs.

Anything Sense 4.0 or higher, or AOSP roms that are JB will not work with 3D.

This and Some Roms Managed to get 3D Video Playback Working i know Sense 4.0/4.1 and CM9 achieved this
 
Yeah I THINK the frozenROM that's 4.1 has 3D Playback working...but the full 3D experience you need sense 3.6 ;)

Which is why I still haven't fully left it yet. The 3D is just so fun. I think so at least.

maybe rarely used by you :> I use it often actually, but I digress, how do you multiboot? I been saving like 5-6 nandroid backups on my 32gb card and wipe and restore when I wanna change
 
Boot manager on the play store, just make sure that you use ICS or below for your main rom, it doesn't yet support booting from JB+. :p
