Root [ROM]|AlienDroid|V1.0|Android 4.2.1|Fast|Stable|Smooth|

Flashed this yesterday. Nice ROM. This will be my senseless backup. Everything seems to work; bluetooth, 4G, 3G, camera.
 
I"m unable to flash this rom. it keeps bootlooping at the htc startup. Sometimes I'm able to briefly see the AlienDroid bootanimation but it would restart itself over and over.

I'm on Eng 1.04 running 4ext. Tried other recoveries and got the same bootloops :(
 
are you formatting all partitions except SD and wping dalvik before flashing.. If the awnser is yes . then try redownloading over WIFI

Yeah, its a kang special.. Oh well, who cares right.. Going to use 10.1 until Mazda gets around to making AOKP 4.2..

I can confirm .. It breaks the camcorder.. It turns on but when you hit record with the dedicated button or the red button on the screen , nothing happens... AND I dont think its a huge deal but I would get a system Ui crash at the beginning of each boot

Yes, and I don't think the download is corrupted. I think it's because im on the Sprint 2.89 base.

I'm gonna downgrade to the 2.08 Base then flash Jbear 1.50 over it and I will report if it will boot. :)
 
My suggestion. Run the RUU. THEN TAKE THE OTA. Then reroot . flash hboot 1.5. Then recovery...and give it a go
 
Just installed Mobster rom as a test and that rom boots up fine. Why does my phone hate me or maybe AlienRom hates me? >.<
 
Gonna try installing Alienrom again after Mobster. I suspect Viper3d and it's Synergy ext4 superswiper, alignment or whatever could leave some traces even after wipe everything and cause problems with some roms not to boot.
 
No. You won't lose soff. Just lose root. They have one you can flash thru bootloader. Ramjet can provide a link possibly.. . he is a ninja
 
Unsucessful trying to install Alienrom. getting back on mobsters, then I will flash the Virgin Mobile firmwares and see if that will fix things. If not I think i'm just gonna run Mobsters cause it works! :P Getting kinda tired from flashing for the day XD
 
is photosphere not in the camera for a reason or can i just go flash something or pull a diff camera from another cm10.1 rom to get it? i randomly use it to try and make good photosphere photos

It's Fixed!!!!

I flashed the Virgin firmware latest 1.14, then flashed Jbeared. Mobster stopped booting so I had to pulled the battery then the SDcard to remove Jbear zip. The got back in recovery, wiped cache+davik, data factory reset, then formatted all partitions. Reinstalled Aliendroid and it booted!
