i may go retail depending on the release date that my local verizon store has. i'm not sure verizons policy since i have a droid i'm wanting to return. if they will only let me exchange it for another phone and it doesn't come out til the 13th or whatever, retail at bb.

Good re-investments from beginning of 2009 plus a large down payment on this house after selling our previous and making double the purchase price in two years (before market crash). Really just lucky with house and investments but not complaining.

Trust me, my life is anything but boring :D . I'm living proof you don't need those things to be happy, and am very healthy.

I have many interests and talents that can keep me entertained for 10 lifetimes.

I'm so lost guys.... what's with the anticipation of the microsoft presser? Why is there thinking Incred is announced today or having anything to do with microsoft event? 600+ pages and my brain is frazzled. I'm sure I missed the answer to my own question - but someone fill me in.
 
I thought we were supposed to STOP off topic banter about age and all of that? I'm sure the Mods will close this thread down if this continues. That's why there are general and off topic forums for this. Please dudes, I would like to keep this thread open so we have a reliable incoming stream of news about the Incredible.

Joking aside though, that's what my husband and I do. He doesn't blink when I bring home my millionth gadget or drop $100 at Sephora (yes, I am a walking contradiction - I love makeup, and I love geeky stuff!); I don't blink when he has to cover his son's rent for the 3rd month in a row (little background: DH is 15 years my senior, has a 20 year old son); bills still get paid on time.

I did the CSR bit complaining about how VZ wouldn't offer anything up on this phone even after my telling them I was going to try Sprint worry free for a month and if nothing turned up I'd stick with it and cancel VZ. Was just a threat as I often make to get something out of them. So get this my wife goes in for a NE2 to get plain old phone and there is a pending order to cancel my service and therefore she could not get the phone. I have never heard of them doing a cancellation without calling in so I guess they have gotten a lot of threats and figure the hell with us.

VZW will probably release a press announcment after the microsoft one or something. Maybe some VZW reps will be there. I don't know. I expect VZW to make some sort of an announcment today, hopefully regarding their operation 6 takeoff/blastoff thingy their doing :cool:

For me, that's the beauty in being able to get a new phone every year (or every 6 months :o) - once I learn it, it's no longer interesting to me, and that's what my fascination with gadgets is - they're interesting! It's like a grownup version of a baby's rattle! :D
