Kinda OT but my friend just told me she starts a new job tomorrow so I ask if she wants to celebrate and she said she doesn't have any money and to...

"give me two weeks"

I almost cussed her out but she just wouldn't understand the pain that phrase causes me.
 
I retract my last statement. I'm assuming by "one of the hottest devices of spring arrives soon" They mean the incredible. So that should be the next phone announced.

Just read the memo and I am highly alerted by the last sentence. It says 6 new devices launching "this quarter." That means it could be anytime this month or as far out as the end of June!!

Long time lurker. Just wanted to say thanks to Anon and his source, and all the other contributors keep up the good work. :D

i dont think incredible will do 720p, but i do think that when froyo comes out and when and if we get it, it will allow the incredible to do 720p. i say this because i saw the evo support 720p and its runing froyo. i havent heard of any 2.1 phones supporting 720... soeone correct me if im wrong please :)

So that says 6 new devices in this quarter alone.....this being the 2nd quarter....as in Apr-May-June.

Also...i had a thought driving home today....Verizon no doubt wants the Iphone more than it wants the Incredible, right?

So lets imagine this conversation with Steve Jobs....

Steve: If you want the iPhone....do not pick up the Incredible.
Verizon: whatever it takes....

Fortunetly we have the Best Buy leak that reassures us we will not have to wait until June. I for one believe the leak...April 29 at the latest.
 
Not sure if anyone checked or posting this before.

I took a look at the internal BBY document and it is spot on with the advertisement this week for BB Curve and the LG Chocolate Touch.

To me this definitely validates that the phone is coming the 29th at BBY. :D

Sorry to be sceptical on this one but that looks like a screen shot of Access I could make that in about 5 min. What company would use that to keep track of inventory?

This is true nonetheless youve gotta be thankful that we can get a hold of anything at all...just enough to keep you on your toes.
 
It looks like VZW is on a normal calendar year-end, so "this quarter" is April-June.

It's worth noting, just for general knowledge, that not every company operates on a normal calendar year, so it isn't just correct to assume the first quarter is Jan-Mar, etc.

Jobs is too arrogant to care about any phone over shadowing the iPhone.
