Big Bang Theory appreciation thread

I didn't see a thread for this topic so I decided to make one.

I've recently become hooked on the TV series entitled The Big Bang Theory. This series is hilarious and often requires me to rewind portions of episodes because I'm laughing so hard.

My favorite scene:
Leonard is learning how to drive but the lesson is on a computer simulator. All of his friend are gathered around him.

Leonard: (adjusting his imaginary seat belt) "No airbags? Suppose I have an accident"

Penny: "I'll hit you in the face with a pillow"

Leonard: (begins driving and is quickly involved in an accident)

Penny: (grabs a pillow from the nearby sofa and hits Leonard in the face with it)

I had to rewind that scene several times due to laughing so hard.

What's your favorite episode/scene?
 
Hard to identify a favourite, there are so many that are excellent and extremely funny. Only criticism: can't quite believe just how far out of their leagues are the girls Howard and Leonard landed.

Mind you, my missus is cute so I guess it happens .. ;)
 
The whole "league" thing isn't always real there are attractive girls out there that do want someone thats genuinely nice with a great personality. I look at my relationship and wonder how I got my girl sometimes and just realize that the whole "outa my league" is for little kids

But back to the show I love it! I love when Sheldon says Bazinga. One episode I really laughed at good(well all of them..) was when Sheldon got in trouble with the HR for sexual harassment for saying a few things to his intern... and the episode ends with him getting Lennard Howard, Raj, and himself out of trouble for the same thing by turning the table on HR and accusing her of it. It was pretty funny

that and when Sheldon forgets his flash drive and he's on the train and all he can hear with the sound of the tracks is (you forgot your flash drive you forgot your flash drive you forgot your flash drive) over and over until he calls penny to email him the contents of it, and it gets better from there! haha love the show!

And I loved the way Penny opened the puzzle box that contained the flash drive :)
 
I don't usually pay attention to sitcoms until they hit syndication, so I'm just recently getting into this show. Probably the best sitcom since Seinfeld.
 
It's awesome because they use a comfortable medium of brainy remarks to reach a wide demographic

It's even more entertaining when they make those brainy remarks, or make references to "geeky" things and you understand it and your GF has a blank look on her face. :D

Was in Mexico last week & only a few channels were in English so we were forced to watch this show. Gotta admit I love it. :thumbup:
 
I'd be pretty hard-pressed to pick a favorite as well, but I really love the episode where Raj is afraid he's going to be deported and asks Sheldon for a job. In one scene, Sheldon corrects Raj about sacred cows and Raj shouts "Stop telling me about my own religion. The mood I'm in I'll take you out, I swear to Cow!".
Another scene shows them hard at work in a montage set to "Eye of the Tiger" but they barely move....just staring at a white board!
 
Oh! Also the whole "flashback" episode where Leonard first meets Sheldon. I especially love the scene with the Roommate Agreement. If ever either of them invents time travel, their first stop will be at that meeting. As soon as Leonard initials it, they both start looking around.
 
As i said earlier, i started watching the episodes from season 1 on the weekends. Now suddenly they changed the season they show :-(

Haha, I hate that I missed that episode. I'll have to look for more season DVD's.
 
I have been a huge fan of the show since the very first episode! I've been told that I am a lot like Sheldon myself..(only I'm a girl...and not a geek and super hot:D) anywho...like the way he knocks on Penny's door...
'Penny...Penny....Penny..." and how he thinks the world revolves around him:rolleyes:.....
