Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

Morning all... I agree.. Drooling over Glass this morning.
Also, since Google is having a developers meeting here in Austin in a couple of weeks, I am trying to score the pass needed to attend. Would be fantastic!
Hope everyone has a great hump day!

Small update on the Media Center this morning... Lag on audio syncing with the video on streaming episodes from both A&E and History shows.. Not sure why since NBC, CBS and ABC shows are synced properly... Going to try out an HGTV show next, see what happens. Might be the connection I have with TWC, not sure yet.

It's going to be an expensive set of months with wanting to buy 2 phone and a pair of these. Scary thing is that I think my gf would want a pair of it can be integrated with her glasses as well.

Hi Pup :)

Google had previously said that prescription lenses CAN be fitted into the Glass frame. Which is good, because I have line-less trifocals. Only concern I have is that my distant vision is on top - right where that Glass projects information. My near field is dead center, and reading is on the bottom. I'd really hate to spend 4 digits on something that my eyes can't focus on :(

Google Glass looks fantastic. Too bad my life is very uneventful and boring to have a use for it LOL!

I still want a pair :D

My only concern with the Google Glass is that I already nearly kill myself daily with these @#&%@# bifocals!! Ha...can you imagine a bus load of ladies my age wandering the streets of Portland with a pair of these on?!

Your self deprecating sense of humer makes me

Thanks, that goes a long way at work sometimes.:)

Greetings Nexlings!

Does anyone know if SquareTrade is legit? Supposedly I can buy 2 years' coverage with accidental damage protection for $99.

They say they will repair or replace the phone up to 4 times in the 2 years!
Seems a bit too reasonable.

It's subject to a dollar limit if I remember correctly. So 4 repairs possibly, but I think only 1, maybe 2, replacements. I could be wrong though.

Squaretrade does NOT cover your device if lost or stolen, however Verizon's insurance does. So keep that in mind when making your decision.

Yeah, I just read their FAQ's pretty extensively. Seems like they only cover stuff up to the "purchase price" of a phone. Seeing as how my "purchase price" was only $200, it doesn't seem like it would be a good fit.

Oh well.
