Amoled or Oled screens are worse for sure in direct sunlight, but in a normal to dark environment they really shine. I love the blacks that an amoled screen can display by effectively turning off each pixel instead of shading like Lcd. This also saves battery life because the pixels are inactive.

The really is no cheap Amoled it's very expensive to produce, that is the only reason tv manufactures have been slow to make the transition, it's just not cost effective. If you have never seen an Amoled screen in person your in for a real treat with the Incredible.

I don't think Sprint will be able to get in on the LTE bandwagon - the AT&T CEO indicated as much when asked about the Sprint CEO's comments at CTIA.

I've been reseaching this and WiMax CAN be switched to LTE. The other carriers are going to use FDD-LTE and WiMax can be switched to TD-LTE. Also the LTE chipset/radio can handle BOTH FDD-LTE and TD-LTE.

Goggle TD-LTE, WixMax, FDD-LTE

EDIT: Here's links to 2 articles I posted in another site.

Clearwire asks 3GPP to make TD-LTE on 2.6 GHz a standard; WiMAX in the USA to die in 2011?

Here's a link that explans why Clearwire and Sprint is saying that they can switch from WiMax to LTE. The article is not about Clearwire and Sprint directly - it's about the difference between FDD-LTE and TD-LTE and why it is easier to switch from WiMax to TD-LTE. Reading the article it seems that the LTE chipset can support both FDD-LTE and TD-LTE. It's a real good article.

TD-LTE: The most powerful weapon in the LTE arsenal against WiMAX

I wouldn't necessarily say "cheap" - the tech was impressive when the handset was designed. Only after the N1 came out did Sammy announce Super AMOLED. Integrating the touch sensitive surface into the AMOLED layer was quite a technical feat.

Well, guess I meant underfunded. They must have known what it was like in the sunlight, but decided it was too expensive to improve it.

Are you kidding?? Now people are going to look at NKT's "When in Rome" comment and go...

"Hmmmmm... Rome is in Italy.... "Rome" has 4 letters... "Italy" has 5 letters..... 4 x 5 = 20..... NKT is secretly trying to tell us that THE INCREDIBLE WILL BE RELEASED ON THE 20TH!!" You watch... some clown is thinking that right now.... never fails!!

So it will be the HTC THC on 4/20?

Sweet.

Just one thing. If the Kin Two has an 8 megapixel camera and 720p HD video capture, Verizon HTC or Google better make sure I get some damn 720p video recording. That's all I'm sayin'.

Is the mount some type of dock?
Sounds like the mount is probably for the car. Which begs the question of where is the dock part?

Just a thought; if they're talking about doing 6 new phone announcements, and two were announced today, think we could get an announcement every day this week to total the 6 handsets? That would be a crazy marketing tactic, but crazy enough to get some huge hype.

Like I said, just a thought. Keep the info rolling in, guys -- I'm getting really stoked for this phone!
