Root [International] rom help

On what phone? Looks like Nexus or IS like Nexus? Why would you NOT want the best ROM?

Are there any very vanilla s3 roms that are stable enough for everyday use and where everything works i think is the question....
..."best" is a matter of taste/opinion..

US variants of the S3 have good AOSP support as they use qualcomm chips instead of exynos, which has better documentation. Unfortunately is just our international version which has problems :(

Stability is not so much the issue as fully functioning. None of the AOSP (AOKP / CM) ROMS are fully functioning for the latest 4.2 - Not sure about 4.1.x

Plus loads of Sammy features are not reproducable, if those things are desired. Depends on the model really. For the international GS3, there are good AOSP themes about for Sammy based ROMs.

Tbh i think touchwiz or TW-based roms are fine, i hate the S-features and fancy gimmicky stuff but u can get rid of that.
By looking like a nexus, do u want the on-screen navigation buttons mate?
I dont really see the point on an s3 when it already has that big "chin" dedicated to them lol.
If you wana tinker with the phone, id root it and flash a custom kernel where you can change the cpu speed etc

if youre new and dont know about ROMs then i dont recommend using one, because there is always a chance you brick the phone. and with most of these aosp based ROMs there are also bugs, something else people new to this stuff wont necessarily know how to fix or handle. So i highly recommend reading a whole lot before doing any of this, and sticking with a touchwiz based ROM and a launcher to make it look aosp, these generally have much less to go wrong

I'd recommend neatROM or Wanamlite and then theme it with jellybean domination. It'll give you the features and stability of the stock firmware but the look of the nexus.

I've moved this over to all things root:)

Can you give me the links to the roms please

In my signature. However, if you're flashing wanam 5.8 and jb domination 1.6, you'll need to flash my MB2 pack after jb domination which is in page 524 of the jb domination thread

Or just get ultima rom which is wanam + jb domination already. More noob friendly

i'm goin to give neatrom a try and UltinaROM a try know see what one i like better and is it hard to port stock s3 music player to other roms thank you for the help guys

I think NeatROM and UltimaROM both have the S3 music player in them already, so they'll be there once you flash one of them :)

Neatrom certainly has, plus the option to change/increase max volume (EDIT sorry that may be a Siyah kernel feature?).
Id rather use most 3rd party music players than the stock one, though..
