Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] Jellybean 4.1.2 OTA Has ARRIVED FINALLY!

Sometimes you gotta be Happy with what you got. And with jelly bean Goodness I'm on cloud 9 don't think I'll come down any time soon :-)
 
I can't seem to get very good batterly life with tw Roms. I'm using metropolis with the USC kernel, I think lean kernel 1.8 and I'm usually good at keeping my battery up but idk. Any input homies?

Lean kernel isnt meant for metropolis. Having said that, i understand that it seems to work but i dont know if it helps or hurts metropolis. Perhaps Shabby can shed some light on this.

Stock roms in general are not as good with battery life, touchwiz or otherwise, and require tweaks to squeeze out as much battery as possible. Metropolis is not tweaked. Those of you that came from the esteem remember what the stock rom was like in terms of battery life untill ldrifta worked his magic and made #2.


Thats just how it is. If battery life is the top of your concerns as a user, i suggest sticking with CM or AOKP :)

blackbean is here to stay :) i submitted it ages ago and so now its official. the builds come out regardless if i want them to or not. i dont directly affect it anymore but if there is any bugs etc you guys talk to me i funnel em to the team and we try to sort through them :).

i dropped king kang because to this day i never once even flashed that rom, i had no personal ties to it so i didnt particularly care. i only wnat to support 3 roms at any given time, blackbean, metropolis and king kang were my 3. i needed to make some space :D.

the best part about roms going official is i no longer have to worry about compiling a new build and having the source. like you guys get automated builds of CM you get Blackbean the same style. or any other rom that gets made official status :).

And maybe tell us about some dreams you have for us at the s3 community?
