Swiftkey Flow and Samsung Keyboard

I appreciate Sprint for allowing the Samsung keyboard to remain and I love it. Due to the fact that Swiftkey Flow is included with it along with Predictive Text capability. My question is, with the recent announcement that Swiftkey Flow is out of beta, how close is it to what's included in the Samsung keyboard? Are they one of the same or is the standalone Swiftkey Flow app better in swiping and word prediction?

Thoughts?

Swiftkey flow times out after a while (expires), but if you download it from their website it refreshes and you are off and flowing again ;-).

Their beta supposed to expire tomorrow. After switching to Flow and using it for the last few weeks, I can't imagine anything else. Super fast and super accurate in typing and predictions. And flawless integration of swype and typing.

I have both, but I prefer the Samsung keyboard right now, simply because of the one-handed operation mode.

That said, the Sprint 4.1.2 update did seem to add for "better" prediction than the stock keyboard had before, so I'm liking it even better.

I plan on using Swiftkey Flow on my Galaxy Note 8 tablet (once it's released and I'm able to purchase). Adding the "swype" capabilities on Swiftkey was the last piece of the puzzle that would've made it my #1 keyboard choice, so I'm happy that they integrated that function.

twister6, have you gotten the 4.1.2 update? If so, have you tried the stock keyboard again, with both Swiftkey flow and Prediction enabled?

That's right, the one handed operation is great, especially for swiping. That and the separate number row, even if the integration of Swifkey Flow and word Prediction aren't quite up to par (allegedly).

The Sprint update helped a lot on the predictive words for the Samsung keyboard. Now, I just have to remember how to delete remembered words from the dictionary. I had a typo that accidently saved into memory for one word that I say often (can't remember which one), but really can't remember how to get to the dictionary to erase the word on the Samsung Keyboard.

I don't see a way to edit a personal dictionary or saved words. I see under the Predictive text option you can choose to clear remote and or personal data. But that would clear all saved words. That's one minus foe this KB.

On Verizon here, not update yet. But it was no brainer yesterday to click'n'buy full version of SwiftKey ($1.99). I wasn't sure at first if the latest SwiftKey will include Flow, but for sure it did!!! One word of advice, if you get it - run through config again since once you install full version after Flow beta, everything gets messed up. Running through config and uninstalling old versions straighten everything out.

Everybody have their own personal experience with different keyboards. IMHO, I haven't seen anything as fast and accurate as swiftkey, especially swype - still can't get over it for one handed operation and being able to type at the same time.

When the offending word shows up in the selection bar just press and hold. It will ask if you want to delete the word.

I would not know this if I didn't hover too close with my finger.

Thanks, David! That's even more simple than swype is deleting words that get saved.
