Best Second Hand Android Phone Under $100 That Works on AT&T?

Can anyone recommend the best Second Hand Android Phones that work on AT&T for under $100 that I can get on ebay? Also I'd like to have a removable sd card slot and battery...and best possible camera. and hopefully a good root community supporting the device as well.

Thank you for any help!!

Do you think the Samsung Captivate is the best choice around the $100 or less price point for second hand android phones, or is there something better in this range?

any help is appreciate..thank you!!

I personally found the Captivate/Vibrant to be so buggy that I unloaded them as soon as possible, and paid full price for a different phone.

There are a lot of really cheap no name phone on ebay for a lot less than $100. If you want something brand name, I'd try to snag a Nexus One. What it lacks in features it more than makes up for in straight up PIMP factor.

Will it still be buggy if you use a custom rom?
The Slim Bean RC1 ROM I'm using on my Captivate at the moment is very stable. While still livable, the Captivate hardware is pretty old at this point. I'd look for something newer if you can manage it.

How is a Nexus One better than a Samsung Captivate?

Hardware wise the Nexus One and the Galaxy S are very similar internally. The difference is the Nexus One was designed to be open and encouraged development. I've had both Nexus phones and Samsung phones, and installing ROMs is always easier and tends to work better than any other non Nexus phone. The openness of the Nexus line is why I will never buy another non-Nexus phone.

If you can find a Nexus S in your price range that would also be a better choice just because it was the successor to the Nexus One and I know it had a very large development community when I had that phone.

The Nexus S doesnt have a removable sd card slot and that's one of the must haves for me. So far I'm feeling the Captivate the most. It has pretty much everything I'm looking for at an extremely inexpensive price.
