Help Does the HTC EVO V 4G have an FM tuner?

I don't have a transmitter so was hoping there was an app for that

Thanks. I got it to install with es file explorer. No computer needed at all.

Another stupid question- since this has tuner hardware, can it work as a transmitter? Example, play Pandora on your phone and listen to it thru your car stereo by tuning it to an fm station?

The mirror app is basically a shortcut to the camera's front facing function. The app is actually searchable, but has no shortcut on the EVO V 4G. It is a native app to the EVO 3D.

I don't know if the tuner was searchable, I downloaded the apk from this thread and installed it using Airdroid.

Click on search widget then click the menu button > settings > search > searchable items > apps and type in mirror

The Mirror is searchable on my 3vo.

However, I can't find an apk for it in either /system/app or /data/app.

I wonder if it's included in our cameras but somehow not yours?

BTW, I've installed the HTC Amaze camera, an update to the 3vo camera - which are you all on? I'm still on GB, not sure if I can help further, I think you're on ICS, yeah?

This was driving me crazy! I have the HTC EVO V 4G from Virgin Mobile. It appeared as though there was an FM tuner built-in since it is the same phone as the HTC Shooter, or the HTC EVO 3D. I called VM and they had absolutely no information. The HTC RADIO APP.APK works PERFECTLY!!! Very Happy camper!

-I even get the little radio icon on my notification bar lol
-As I scan thru the different stations it's even picking up the station's name & sometimes the artist the station is playing too!!!!

I just wish the tx worked with the phone but only rx is supported so far

The phone was never FCC type approved for fm transmission, don't believe that the phone is capable.

Installed the FM Radio in the same manner, attached in an email to self, and downloaded directly by opening it up on my phone. Perfect!
