Help Rooting Issues with 4.0.4

Hello all!

I'm sorry if this is getting posted in the wrong section.
I attempted to root my newly updated sgh-i777 with 4.0.4 last month. And my search key quit working lol. So, I wiped my phone back to stock, then upgraded back to 404 without trying to root again.
Did anyone else have this issue, or does anyone have a link to a good tutorial for rooting the sgh-i777 with 4.0.4?

1. Make sure "Unknown Sources" under Settings>Security is checked
2. Download Framaroot, Install, and run.
3. Select Sam (Try the other choices if it doesn't work)
4. Reboot and profit

It doesn't list ATTs model under the compatible devices...but I'm forever the optimist and going to try anyway... will update in a bit.

EDIT: holy shit, that was the most painless root I've ever done!
