***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

If you notice: go to verizonwireless.com/incredible

It'll say file or directory not found, HOWEVER, look up at the site address again and it changes to verizonwireless.com/HTC/incredible

Seems to be that they're working on the site? Just obviously not up yet... why else would HTC show up in there?

Anybody with website design experience think it's anything?

Can't wait to see the commercials too. By the way, have you seen the AT&T commercials with the music theme from Willy Wonka? It got my attention this morning...mainly because I was a kid when that movie came out and I must have watched it 100 times. That was definitely aimed at my age group...
 
Although I don't post much, I, like most others, have enjoyed this thread. I was on the fence of whether to wait for the Incredible or go with the Droid, but the posting of the UG convinced me to wait.

A couple of hundred pages ago I realized I was spending WAY too much time here. There's got to be at least a Master's degree in psychology just waiting to be churned out by someone in these 33400+ posts! ;) (Edit: I'm guessing with a title involving mass hysteria)

Its really crazy we havent seen a leaked, official pic yet. Especially since the April 29 BB release date is floating out there.
 
Anyone concerned that (or know if) Apples lawsuit against HTC features (which the nexus and Inc. have) is causing any of this delay? Could verizon be waiting on some type of judgement from the ITC to be sure its ok to sell these phones?

Also - I was thinking that the release date coincides with the end of the 30 day return period of the "Buy one Get one" deals. I have a few friends that got the driod saying they were going to return it as soon as the incredible came out and I know Verizon DOES NOT want to have a bunch of used phones eating up profits on the Incredible.

Consider the alternative for a second... we get all official specs, pics, and videos today...we talk for 5 more pages and then it's basically crickets.

Well maybe this is the ad campaign...stay mum for as long as possible, leak little tidbits here and there, maybe have Verizon minions in the forums( NKT cough cough) and everyone on Twitter and Phandroid are smashing f5 to get the next tidbit....or I am just giving Verizon way to much credit ;)

I agree I had that damn song stuck in my head all day yesterday and now it back because of you!! lol I kid, I kid. On the other hand I think its funny at&t sticks a shit ton of cash into re branding again and not into their crap infrastructure

From what i've learned over the last few months we don't give Verizon nearly ENOUGH credit.

I think this was pretty much VZW's intentional plan to release the phone. I don't the lawsuit has much if anything to do with it. I personally think if anything, the lawsuit would make them want to launch the phone sooner than later so it is out there. Also, the incredible was not named in the suit.

As for the N1. Maybe? I don't know (or care/no offense) I'd much rather have the incredible :)
 
Ok. Look. So I've had it. This phone is going to suck! The whole company... sucks! This thread, and all the people who are going to get this phone are just... plain. outta. their. mind.

Hi everyone. Long time (since page 30)/First time.

Just wanna say I'm ADDICTED to this forum and am eagerly anticipating this phone!!

My co-worker has an Eris and I've played with it enough to really appreciate HTC's build quality, Sense UI, and overall philosophy.

The Eris is nice but it struggles to keep up with your inputs. I'm sure with the Snapdragon in the Incredible it will be budda smooth!!

Sooooo looking forward to having this phone in my hands in the next few weeks.

Thanks Anon, NKT, and all the "regulars" for making this forum an entertaining place to visit everyday...
