Root ROM Hoppers and song playlists...

Can I make playlists that are persistent from one ROM to another? I made a playlist one time, and for some reason, assumed that a folder on the SD was created to manage it, but after wiping and rooting, that playlist wasn't there anymore. So I figure it's created within the ROM. Is there any way to make a playlist that I can drop on any phone along with the MP3s, and have it maintain song order?

Try perhaps using an alternative media player (Winamp comes to mind.) and saving/exporting your playlist to your SD Card?

Honestly, I just hit "Shuffle all" so I have 3k songs shuffling.

I want like 100 core songs, perhaps 200 on shuffle. I'd also like to make artist specific playlists that combine multiple albums.

I like the built in player...but if audio enhancements carry over to other players, perhaps I'll try one with saved playlists.
