I honestly don't know about that issue never experienced it...
Edit: the update is buggy judging by the reports on this thread anyway

And well me and a few others figured the kernel was the issue. Ever since i changed my kernel to linaro kernel v2.7, I've had no issues nor reboots. It's actually running real smooth now. :) test it and confirm if change.

I used the kernal that flashes with BB7 , but i just now fresh installed carbon and im gonna see how long it last. And back on bb7 i would last about 8 hours with HEAVY use , and about 13 with moderate (checking my messages, emails, instagram and twitter) but during heavy use , i would be playing emulators, skype , apps, email, tweet alot,

Please follow all directions and remember that you are flashing the d2usc version 2.7. If you flash anything like d2vrz d2spr d2tmo... Your screewd so READ THOROUGHLY;)
 
I only have two problems.

1. Sometimes when my phone locks it self, it freezes with that little white line across the screen not fully locking. I have to remove my otter box to remove the battery.

2. I have to reset my phone when ever I lose service, my service never comes back so resetting my phone is my only solution.

Yes that's the problem we've addressed. The solution seems to be flashing another kernel. Look at my previous post for the link to a very smooth kernel.


Ever since yesterday morning i flashed it and have had everything running beautifully all day and night. :)

So can I flash this new kernel right over my current rom? Do I need to wipe anything?

I do apologize for the noobness but I just want to make sure I'm doing this right.

For safe measure clear dalvik/cache after flashing it. And ALWAYS fix permissions after flashing any kernel.... It keeps everything organized;) enjoy!
