Root Question about switching to PPC.

Hello everyone.

To save you time, can I use my HTC evo 4g and switch it to Pageplus network?

I am pretty new to doing anything with my phone. I have the HTC evo 4g and I did change it to 3g in october by following the fix everything by changing your phone thread.

So I do have S-off, the phone is rooted and I have Harmonia rom running on it. With the 808 radio, problem is, my phone still gets crap coverage in my area and outages all the time... I tried all the other radios as well, and my prl is updated

I think this just about covers it, I used the search function but couldn't find anything about that, could anyone tell me if it is difficult to do and if possible how? Or point me in the direction of an existing thread about this?

Either way, sorry to be a bother, and thank you as always.

I believe you should be able to just contact Page plus and they might be able to answer your question better then us.

Wait do you have the HTC EVO 4G or the HTC EVO V 4G? Two totally different phones. The Evo V 4G that I assume we have only works with VM I believe. However I am not an expert but I have also never heard of flashing a VM phone to another carrier.

Well it appears ppl have told me I can use the Evo V 4G on Verizon by using a donor phone. So anything is possible. :]

Not illegal unless you're locked into a contract/paying for the phone, which BTW guys that bill is up for re-vote, got over 100,000 signed petitions on the whitehouse petition site, so that may change

I am currently on pageplus, I would defiantly check some flasher websites and ask them if they can, I know its possible but difficult, another issue is say that it has been successfully flashed you might only get 1x and no 3g. it is a common problem with some of the flashed phones.

It's not something that's up for vote, the executive branch has nothing to do with it, as currently written the DMCA allows the Library of Congress to issue exemptions every 3 years, unless they amend the law there's nothing to be done for the next 3 years under the statute unfortunately.
OB
