Dude. Seriously. Ben Stein is the friggin' man.
Do like Anon'sfactor, though.
+1

I can, in fact, see Anon's thoughts to some of the posts in this thread being similar to Stein's "Bueller?...Beuller?"

Really? Most families that I saw had the teenager get the iPhone before he parents! There isn't much that parents won't do to keep their children (or pets) happy. It's a pittance compared to a MacBook/laptop, which all the teens also have....
probably cause they read this thread and saw how many people bought moto droids to hold them over until incredible release..haha
Verizon expected to modify its restocking fee policy? (Phone Arena News)
I think what a lot of people need to understand is that the average family (like mine) doesn't have an extra $30 per phone (times however many people are in the family) especially when a phone like this meets the needs perfectly. I'm not saying that there will be no teens with the incredible, but I'm sure as hell not buying one for my teenager. That'd just be stupid!
i thought only the primary number on an account was eligible for NE2.
Where do YOU live? Most families? All the teens have? You must live is a pretty affluent area. Either that or you're just grossly mistaken.

I agree 100%. We have 6 kids, 13-23. (We actually have to have two family plans.) We provide them with phones and texting, but I draw the line at a $30 plan. But if the Kins (especially the Kin 2) are compatible with a $10 data plan, I'm sure the younger ones will be very interested, and I'll probably give in - it seems like the extra $10 a month is just one of the costs of modern life that you have to get used to. I'm actually looking forward to more information about them.

Around here, there's usually only ONE smartphone in a family. And even one family computer! Shocking, I know.![]()

No, Twiz, I am not taking pictures with you! ha ha ha. Seriously Steeler's Country.....Anyone else think Ben could use a haircut and a shower? I live north of 80!
The teen & student market is a HUGE growth market, especially given that growth of cell phone sales among adults is saturated. We should hope that the Incredible/Android platform can become as attractive to them as the iPhone has.
Last week...it's cool, Boy Genius is still learning.

Well some O.T. Non-Incredible information from today in regarding Verizon's LTE. I was working with some of the Verizon network engineers today and from my understanding, the west coast/western states (Arizona, Utah, California, ect) will be some of the first to see LTE towards the end of 2010.
