Is a Mobile Data toggle being added? Only see a LTE one which just switches 4g to 3g ( and doesn't seem to turn it back on, had to go into the Settings and manually change the Network Mode, and then it took a very long time for 4g to turn back on).

Everything else is looking good, very smooth and fast. Can't decide whether or not it's better than CM10.1... :p

That allows all widgets, but I would have thought there would be a way to add ones without that override. I thought about enabling that setting, but didn't have a need since the widgets I use there work fine example.

@ tdm totally. I paid for the app and I never pay for apps... I stick to free ones. So that should let you know how much I like it. I've only bought 3 apps out of hundreds.

Btw, the version of aokp you posted is the best yet. No more lag and better battery life. I'm a happy panda. :D

Now that it looks like some of the kinks in AOKP are worked out, I might need to give it a run.

@tdm, is there a difference between the ramdisk from CM to AOKP?
 
Few item...

1. Answers from AOKP team:

Lockscreen shortcuts are not included because the core devs thought that the lockscreen is crowded enough with 4.2.2's features. Alternatives are being considered but no winner has emerged yet.

WiFi tether toggle fix was committed a few hours ago.

If you click on the Mobile Network tile (the one that shows your carrier/number of bars) it will disable/enable mobile data

2. One remaining change left to commit for AOKP. Should be approved anytime.

3. Jef Oliver updated his G+ post with this:

"Well, pending major objections, I'm merging these tonight."

Absolutely. I'm a huge fan of AnyKernel.

Not the actual project, necessarily, but the idea of replacing just the kernel and modules while leaving the initrd alone. I have considered writing my own with only shell scripts to avoid using precompiled executables.

It would have been really nice if Google chose a different method for the kernel and initrd. Either separate partitions or a fixed initrd offset or whatever. But I gotta admit, at least it's much better than packing initrd into the kernel binary like Samsung does on some of their devices.

Cool, that works. Not very intuitive, called Signal in the menu and icon looks like phone signal not data, but glad it works, was really the only functionality that I was missing.

Sounds good. I think I'll start working on getting it to work that way then. Also, if you do decide to create your own way of doing it, let me know. I would be more than happy to help test it.
 
Rumor is that CM 10.1 M2 will release on Sunday or so.

Asked on Jef's G+ new device post whether VS920 would be there. Got this back almost immediately from rmcc: "the other iprojs should go in once I fix a couple of things that have been nagging me, I don't see a reason for the vs920 not to".

That says to me iproj devices may not be in the first wave of M2 builds but will probably roll out before long, with VS920 included.
 
In the "Running" Apps screen I'm seeing a lot of "Restarting" for a number of my apps. Normal?
In 'Catlog' seeing more then a few "Scheduling restart of crashed service.."

Can you pastebin the logcat? Also, which rom are you using? Are you on CM10.1 or AOKP42 and, if so, are you on the preview or the Quattrimus version?
 
Is AOKP supposed to only have 1 ringtone and notification? Just wondering since CM10 has a whole bunch...

Not sure how post logs being they are huge but try THIS

CM10.1 beta4

I also noticed while streaming apps such as Spotify and TuneInRadio suddenly stop streaming randomly too. No error message but just playback is suddenly stoped like you hit the stop button.

Log while Spotify was running.

Log while TuneInRadio was running.
