Hey guys, anyone know how to remove the clock in the status bar? It's getting crowded up there![]()
I believe that there is a line of code in statusbar.xml in the systemui.apk that is in charge of displaying the clock in the status bar. Only issues is having a XML editor or some sort to do the edit.
BUT another temp solution is to use nova launcher, go in to nova settings, then labs, and then selecting the option for hiding the clock in the status bar. That's what I'm doing now but it only works in the home screen or drawer so when you open an app the clock will be there again.
I'm running Nova but can't find the "labs". Is it only available in the paid version?

Its for free and paid. While in Nova Setting, hold the Vol Down button for a second and a toast notification will appear. Then scroll down and you'll see a Labs option. Its a hodden menu![]()
Awesome!!!! So much better.
How you get those icons on your notif bar?
Yep. UOT Kitchen.
Moto, you haven't tried it yet? You can probably use the same System UI that I have.
Can you take a screen shot when you're in " file upload" I wanna see what I would tick..
I could upload my SystemUI, and all you have to do is flash it in recovery.
Yes!

I'm trying to upload my zip but keep getting this message,
"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."
Not sure why.![]()

Any ways I zipped the View attachment framework.zip by itself so all you should have to do is extract it and put it in the View attachment SpeedClock.zip. Then flash in recovery.I figured out why it wouldn't upload. The file was to big.Any ways I zipped the View attachment 50510 by itself so all you should have to do is extract it and put it in the View attachment 50511. Then flash in recovery.
EDIT:
As always make a backup before you flash.
So extract the framework.zip then move the extracted framework in the speedclock.zip then flash speedclock.zip in recovery?
It won't let me move the extracted framework into the speedclock.zip
I use winrar and it worked fine. Are you doing it from a computer or the phone?
