will all the samsung fans please help me out, iPhone argument

I was an avid Iphone lover. I've been on iphone4 for 2 years. during that time the 4s release felt like a rip off. Upgrade time comes and the iphone5 feels like.. a rip off.. Its got nothing different Ios wise from the iphone 4. A slightly bigger screen and a better processer.
I'm switching to S3 in the next 5 days, iphones are overpriced and if you like to enjoy customisation there very dull. They rush out the latest model with little changes that offer nothing more than the last model. I've seen the light.
Everything on an iphone ios is on a samsung and more.. and extra apps and customization are more freely available in the google play store.
Iphones to get extra you have to jailbreak, which i always do cos the stock ios is very dull. But jailbreaking is getting increasingly tough.. it took the experts over 6 month to JB ios6. How long before apple stop JB altogether.
Ios5 apples big release was a new notification system.. taken from android.. and imessage.. similar to BBM.. apple have nothing new, and over charge.

Iphones are arguably more sturdy and they have better twitter apps.. neither of which are deal breakers. If you are like me and careful with your phone its always in a good pocket then nothing to fear there.
 
I just left the conversation lol. I find it hard to just let a Apple fanboy get away thinking Apple is on top and will always stay there when it's clear there going downhill. But I said "I'm done with this convo one thing with apple fanboys they stubborn and u can't tell them nothing even if it's true"

What is the purpose of the "argument"? Is the outcome of the argument going to change which device you use? Is it going to change which device your opponent uses? If the answer to these questions is "no", then there is no point on wasting resources in debate.

Sometimes people start an argument for no other purpose than to cause stress in the lives of others. Try not to give it any power.

If a manufacturer provides software updates then the new phone won't have anything different software wise.

No, I do understand what you are saying about iOS, and I agree it's overdue a refresh. It just struck me that people normally complain about lack of updates, and that if they got their wish then this "complaint" here would become the norm.

I wouldnt say it was lack of updates, fair play to Apple they do release a lot. But they launched Iphone 5 with this great new IOS6.. then made ios6 available on 3gs, 4 and 4s. which detracts from a selling point of the 5. so aside from a bigger screen your buying a top of the range phone and all your gaining is siri. All they need to do was say "well features x,y,z are only for iphone 5". Give it something special.
 
apple make good quality hardware... solid.
but they do make some mistakes...antennagate.

also apple do a very good job of copying others.. which the ifans eat up.

bluetooth
bluetooth stereo
... etc...
 
Well sorry you guys. At 1st it was just suppose to be a friendly debate. The idiot part is what started making me mad. You can't call a person idiot because you don't believe what they say. I never even planned on calling him anything
 
Have you used these arguments with him:
1) No removable battery.
2) No microSD slot.
3) If you are still with AT&T, then you must be a millionaire.

At the end of the day its personal preference. Both are great and have their ups and downs. Obviously everyone here is going to be biased, I dont see why you are wasting your time going at it with a random guy trying to prove Android is superior.. at the end of the day no one cares and it's just what you prefer.
 
yea imma just quit it. and @EarlyMon I didn't think about he might be a 10 year old lol. but thanks all of you who said just ignore it. I actually commented on a article awhile ago about android vs iOS and then somebody commented (you could clearly see they wasnt making a good debate) but i just didnt respond and i didnt say anything
