***Official HTC Incredible Thread***

Hold on a second.

Looking through the user guide, I saw no mention of quickly sharing videos captured with the phone by uploading it to Facebook.

Can anyone confirm this?

I know the iPhone can capture video and upload it to Facebook. I want the incredible and would be surprised if this feature wasn't included.

So does this mean we wont have an official release date announcement for awhile? Verizon wouldnt make a coming soon page for a phone they announce tomorrow.
 
I know we've got the dates of 4/25 and 4/29 floating around, but they were not announced officially (only on leaked marketing material). Look at the date on the phone, 5/9. Wonder if that's the date this bad ass drops?

That was my thinking as well. A "hang in there" gesture on their part until they announce a date. So it's bitter sweet. A sweet that they are introducing the phone, but bitter that it may take the infamous "2 weeks" to announce a release date.

First, my head just exploded.

Second, I'm concerned about a pre-order page thinking that the release is still a long ways away. Kinda like the Nexus One's on Google/phone. Is it just me or does anyone else get this feeling... of course I signed up on VZW and now will be checking my enV2 for that txt!!

The page might be there for people to go to something after an official announcement. Verizon has (in my opinion) marketed this phone amazingly. They have not had to say one thing and it is already extremely popular.

Devour reminds me of something the Soviets would have made in a "factory of the people" ;)


As far as why no samples or info yet for Incredible, perhaps 4/29 will be pre-order and 5/9 will be the street date. Makes sense from a practicle standpoint (no samples in the wild yet).

No, I'm not a Verizon plant. Just a long time follower of this thread. I joined right around the time the user manual came out, but have been too busy working to contribute... but I just could not resist when I discovered this page from Verizon.

Now I just need to know when I can buy it. My wife's Eris should arrive today, but I'm holding back for the Incredible.

Perhaps it's just the fact that I forgot my tinfoil hat this morning, but this seems awfully suspicious. Somebody who just joined 6 days ago, hasn't even posted before, and breaks what I consider the BIGGEST story yet... Yes, the manual and accessories are neat, but this is hands down the most official acknowledgment by VZW yet. I have a feeling we're being toyed with again... But hey, I'm happy to have news no matter the source. :D

Trust me, I work in IT for Amazon and we don't track anything like looking at a website unless it is porn. I cant say that all places are like this but we are looking at who is uses the most bandwidth.

Yea interesting note on the date it's showing... Weird that it conflicts with everything. You would have figured they would use a random date after this stuff should have come out. But maybe that is exactly what 5/5 is, a random date AFTER the phone comes out :D
 
Was on Amazon.com and did a search for HTC Incredible and several items are for sale. Pretty generic charging type items, but still marketed as HTC Incredible.
 
Anybody key there email in yet on that site?
