Perhaps it's just the fact that I forgot my tinfoil hat this morning, but this seems awfully suspicious. Somebody who just joined 6 days ago, hasn't even posted before, and breaks what I consider the BIGGEST story yet... Yes, the manual and accessories are neat, but this is hands down the most official acknowledgment by VZW yet. I have a feeling we're being toyed with again... But hey, I'm happy to have news no matter the source. :D

I also signed up. I clicked through the page to verify that it was really a Verizon site, but there really isn't any reason not to. I just think it hasn't been linked to the main site yet.

Thats interesting. I hope its not true because I want it as early as possible! But why else would they put the date on there as 5/5?

On the Eris the HTC mail app pulls your mail in and you can set the interval as low as every 15 minutes. Not sure if it was changed to 5 minutes on 2.1 as the pp had stated. I am on 1.5 so it is not true push technology but if you are waiting for an email you can always hit the refresh button and it will look for mail on the selected account, work, verizon ect.. where as the gmail is true push.

I know the iPhone can capture video and upload it to Facebook. I want the incredible and would be surprised if this feature wasn't included.

I just added stage to the URL. Somebody had posted in a thread a million pages back a bunch of VZW staging websites and I have been checking those every morning for updates. Today I thought I was try adding stage to the http://phones.verizonwireless.com/htc/incredible page we got yesterday.

That rarely is the release date. I think even with the iPhone and some other BB phones the date on the advertisement was not the release date but usually a date after release. :D
 
Well, at least we've now given Verizon Wireless the First name, Last name, phone number, and email address of everyone on this thread...you can bet they're very aware of which forum they can expect the first few hundred sign-up's to be from...:)
 
Has anyone tried to search for that HTC Incredible coming soon page?

I did a search and I only get bluetooth headsets. Maybe they haven't even linked the page to show up in search yet.
