I get the feeling Incredible will NOT be the name on release... They use the (tm) on the site maybe only acknowledging the HTC trademark at this point...

People do realize May 5th is less than a week past 4/29, and only 4 business days later, right?

Look at the date on the phone in their pic it is MAY 5th
But it doesn't indicate which year.

yes people dont worry about the date on the phone! heck look at the eris on vzw's website the date on that phone is the 18th of november but it was relased on november 6th

Verizon may be trying to retire the Droid name (or maybe only Motorola will use it from now on) - I can imagine LucasArts's licensing fees are pretty hefty.

If that was "the date" seems like they would have made the time coincide with their opening time not 12:05....
I agree. I have seen so many forum debates on pictures of products with the date on it. It is never the date in the pic.

Anonimac has Phandroid excited about this phone and thread. They are actually getting the news up fast on an android phone. I remember when they would go a whole weekend without updating the news. Thanks!

I was in the store a couple weeks back looking for the Incredible, and the girl tried to push the Devour on my wife and I.Devour reminds me of something the Soviets would have made in a "factory of the people"
As far as why no samples or info yet for Incredible, perhaps 4/29 will be pre-order and 5/9 will be the street date. Makes sense from a practicle standpoint (no samples in the wild yet).
I opened the slider and it about fell out of my hand, it was so top heavy.
Soviet-Era Technology....that's a good one!!!
