Not any different here, really.

it all seems to operate the same for me. Both on stock and Evervolv, the network speeds are approximately the same.

I notice I am getting slightly better reception indoors since this most recent update. My phone used to be completely worthless in my local walmart, now I have a couple bars and a 3g data signal. Building penetration had been a problem for users on sprint networks as they were predominately using 1900MHz band. Its seems sprint is introducing more 800mhz band converge in certain areas which will allow for better calling, data reception and building penetration.

Sprint was discussing this transition early last year with the process to begin in early 2013. Here are two very telling images showing projected difference for Atlanta before and after the rollout of sprints network vision;

Signal strength (green - great, yellow - good, red - mediocre, blue - bad, white - none)

Coverage @ 1900Mhz

Coverage @ 800Mhz

Here are some sources;
PC Mag: Sprint a Better network is comming
Android Police: Sprint's 800Mhz rollout will drop your jaw

So if you are enjoying the benefits of this update maybe you are in an area with recently added 800mhz band.

Big difference over here, it fix a big problem i was having since december that when im at my house i couldn't receive or make any calls or text messages, i use to get a message when making a call that my phone was not authorized to make calls, since i took the update my phone is working again at home.

so yes March OTA worked for me.

Big difference here... I'm s off on evervolv and i now get 4g in my house. calls are clearer too

Huge difference here, my entire commute to school now has stable and constant 3G where normally it would constantly fluctuate to 1x, rendering the internet unusable for a vast majority of the bus ride

It's fascinating to me how a little bit of code turns a worthless radio into a star performer. So there's clearly more to it than signal strength.

I have noticed a difference as well . Texting is much quicker and I havent seen the dreded 1x icon nearly as much

To everyone with improvements: did you go back to stock and take the ota, or did you just flash the new baseband?
I flashed the new firmware and noticed improvements right away. After that, I flashed the RUU and then took the updates OTA. Taking just the firmware was enough for me, though... I was just building a complete stock image for myself & others, but someone else finished uploading it first.

I just did the firmware and didn't see any improvements. I want to run the ruu and take the update and see if it makes a difference. I just can't go that long with my phone off right now, I'm waiting for a call from my realtor and/or bank to hopefully sign closing papers on my house. My wife would kill me if I missed that call because I was "tinkering" with my phone

Is this a better method than flashing that zip ramjet made?
I've been holding off on this but I may tackle it this week.
Flashing the RUU and the OTA's will always be a better method than just flashing the firmware zip file since that's the way the upgrades were intended to be installed. I made the zip for those that were already on the November OTA or had installed that firmware and that may be part of the variation in results.

Did everyone who flashed just the firmware zip file already install the firmware from the November OTA?

yes But Im s-off So its no big deal.. I downgraded it to j bear 1.5 right after

Here are the proper steps if you haven't unlock your bootloader after getting S-off using wire trick:

After you done the wire trick, it installed jbear 1.57.57, but your booloader is locked again. Re-unlocking your bootloader isn't necessary anymore since you're S-off at this point. You would have to first flash JBear 1.58.58 right after upgrading to 2.95 to give you fastboot commands, because Jbear 1.50.50 would cause the stock rom not to boot. Then you can flash a custom recovery such as 4ext (recommended) and TWRP 2. AFter that, you can flash a rom that could run on all hboots such as Negalite Blurom. Then you can flash Jbear 1.50.50 through bootloader. :)

This procedure will not make your phone bootloop.
