Radio stations

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'm terrible at finding stuff doing a search ;).
So do you use Slacker, Pandora, iheart or some other app? I haven't tried iheart but prefer Slacker over Pandora. There is a similar post on my fishing website.

I sometimes use iHeart and TuneIn, because these are the only two that are not restricted to United States only. I think Clear Channel's iHeart is supposed to be US only, but certainly works in China OK. :) I use TuneIn mostly, but I like listening to US talk radio stations occasionally. I mostly listen to talk radio anyway, not music stations. For music I've got an extensive MP3 collection and there's Baidu Music as well.

Spotify. It's the only one I've found that doesn't repeat every couple hours.

Yeh, a lot of internet only streaming music stations only have maybe 50-100 songs in their playlists for a certain genre of station. Sky.fm and 1.fm are like that, songs are often repeated. Although I'm sure they rotate their playlists occasionally. They probably have to, otherwise listeners will start to think, oh gawd not Walking on the Moon by The Police again!!!

Alot of the local radio stations are online and offer live streams also. At least in my area they do.

I'm a classic hard rock fan myself, but have grown into jazz mainly, now that I'm older.

I listen to internet radio all the time just to get away from local stations. 1 song, 5 commercials.

Haven't listened to a local radio station in years.

SiriusXM app for me.
