WTF? Dual core, snapdragon processor, you'd think we could play the likes of "modern combat", or some of the other awesome FPS games on the market, but we can't. We can't even try them from the market! I even tried downloading it off the black market, patching it with lucky patcher, and I installed the qualcomm drives via that 3D something or other app. Started the game only to get an unending "processing" signal. And I know it wasn't the verification failing, because then I'd at least get the verification failed screen. This is some bs. Anyone know how to get it going? I got street fighter 4 working but the backgrounds were all white. WTF!!??!! This phone is getting on my nerves... And if the conglomeration of metro and t mobile bring better phones for metro, I'm gonna be pissed cuz I didn't want to have to upgrade again so soon. PLEASE crack this bootloader!!! :-) Anyway, any advice on how to get the cool games on this phone would be much appreciated.

Switch your lg motion lines in your build properties to match what I have for the Google nexus s hope that helps. I get to dl almost any app from the market

The problem is not getting the games, it's playing them. I mean, not even a"verification failed" notification, which is what you usually get with "illegally" obtained market games that ARE compatible with this phone. Have you ever gotten one of those games that are reminiscent of call of duty to play on this Droid? Because if so, then I'm totally down to change my build prop and pay for the goddamn app just to have it on my phone! I just don't wanna go through the trouble, pay hard earned $$, only to have it not work anyway and get shafted out of 4-5$$. Know what I'm sayin'?

Yeah you pretty much pay for the app either with cash or with complete access to your whole device by hackers who put those pirated apps out there just for you

The apps themselves aren't "hacked". Someone (not necessarily even a hacker) posts the apk on a website, and you have to "patch" it and remove the built-in app-market verification yourself before running it, otherwise you get the failed verification notice. I normally pay for my apps, but unfortunately the FPS apps that I want to try can't be bought for my device because they are "incompatible", hence the turn to the black market. I could try changing the build prop; and while that may give me the ability to purchase them from the market, I'm not sure if it will change my ability to play them on this phone- which would make those efforts a waste of time and money. This is neither here nor there, and whatever anyone's views are on pirating are irrelevant to my original reason for posting this thread. My point is that we should be able to play these games with our phones' specs, yet we are not. Ive tried running them, and they won't even start up. I'm trying to find out if anyone else has gotten them to work, or at least has an explanation as to why they won't play on the motion. I guess I'm trying to convince myself that this phone doesn't suck so bad. Sure it was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

The apps themselves are easily hacked and keyloggers can be thrown in as well as all kinds of other nasty stuff

An entire conversation about piracy is a no go here. If an app is listed as incompatible, please bring it up with the developer through the Play market as it may be a simple clerical fix. As has been mentioned the simple hacks may also include several other unwanted consequences far beyond the app simply working.

I'm closing this thread, if anyone has any objections, drop me a line.
