I've been bugging my best buy mobile manager to give me a solid date after showing him the leak anyway and he finally cracked. He had already confirmed the 29th for sure but he just received email about it being available the 25th. Don't get your hopes up he believes the is the preorder date but any new info is good.

As for my Verizon friend who is a store manager says don't be surprised if it is only available online and at best buy on the 29th. Might not see it in stores till the 13th. Higher up's are saying to him 13th will be a big day for "Corporate Store Sales". He said it could be the release of the Microsoft phones. Let's hope so if not I will be the first one in line at Best Buy. Ha Ha on the 29th. It's ashame we get phones before the own company gets them. Anyone with 1 yr upgrade Im sorry. Everyone else activating new service or eligable for ne2 then come on down on the 29th preorders or available the 25th I hope but hell what's 4 more days.

Ah the anxiety NFL mobile and 3.7 inch all touchscreen HTC Android phone. My prayers have finally been answered.

While my verizon buddy (regional manager) didn't give me a firm date, mid-May is what he's hearing. Believe me, I hope he's wrong.

A complete shot in the dark here: maybe we will see an announcement tomorrow (or maybe a site will go live again).

Page source also discloses http://phones.verizonwireless.com/esp/incredible/

currently 404, but that's a page i'd pay attention to.

Just guessing since this phone has always been just two weeks away; tomorrow would be two weeks away from April 29th.

Also, as many have said before, Verizon is probably loving the free internet hype of this phone (at the expense of all of us wearing out our F5 keys :p)

Just talked with CSR about pre-order. They said first you sign up for pre-order (email address) then they will email you when it is available. Second, when it is available you go and order it from VZW.com. They said that the item ships on the day of release. When you receive it will depend on the shipping method you choose when ordering. I asked isn't overnight kinda standard when ordering online, & they said that it depends, sometimes you have to pay for overnight. To get it the next day, you'd have to use overnight shipping and order it by 2pm on the release day. They do ot deliver on weekends. Hope this helps.

I always like posting this in large threads. A breakdown of the top posters in this thread.

You know better than I but I had a feeling for some time now that we will see it first at the NFL Draft. TV spots that is.

so its 50/50 at best that it would ship on Thursday for Friday delivery....there is a very good chance you may not see it until monday if you choose to pre-order.:(:(

Wow @ the top 3!

I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed, so smilies for both.:(:D

Edit: In my defense, I have more thanks than posts, and I'd say at least 1/3 of them were even deserved for being helpful.

It's a perfect case study of viral marketing.

No doubt it'll be in marketing books in 5 years. Kids will be wondering who the mythical Montana Man and Kappy were, and what was up with the great probation.

If i could only come up with something meaningful to post about for my 500th post...:)

alas, i'll keep thinking...

I assumed that since this is a brand new phone. This phone is my for girlfriend and she is eligible for some discounts.

I just went to Verizon website to see how much she would have to pay if she wanted to upgrade to Droid Motorola.

This is what the website says:

Full Retail Price: $559.99
Price with 2year Contract: $299.99
Online Discount: -$100.00
New Every two discount: -$100.00
Your Price: $99.99

She only would have to pay $99.99 for this phone.

If Incredible is $199.99 with 2year contract (which I doubt that this phone will be less than Droid Motorola), then she won't have to pay anything for the phone, if above info is the same for Incredible.

This has never made sense to me. When I log onto my account I don't see this kind of discount. One of my phones is eligible for the NE2 but the only thing I see is the 2year price ($299.99) and an online discount of $100 ONLY having me pay $199.99.......where can I see the NE2 discount? I always figured that the NE2 discount was the 2year contract priced in? I would love to pay only $99.99 for my new phone. Thanks!
