Believe it or not, some people get around 14000 kbps speeds, which is beyond useful! Hope you enjoy your Evo and have fun with 4G, especially since most people love the phone without access to it
The folks on LTE are getting 3-4 times that easily. Depending on proximity to the tower and congestion levels, I think I've read about some people getting 50Mbps or close to it. I can't recall the exact number, but as you said, it's beyond useful.![]()
Best part about it is that its unthrottled.
I used 80gb in one week.

WTF are you doing that requires 80 gbs in 1 week?! and why would you be using your phone for that much internet usage?!
When I renewed my monthly on the site.. I saw it says theres a 2.5gb limit for non tethered users and 3.5 gb for tethered.. I know they dont just stop your service but Id be afraid to go much more than 4gb..
Thanks to people that do this, companies have to throttle or cap data.

He apparently decided that his phones data was a replacement for his home internet.
companies throttle to make more money.
How does that work? Do they charge an extra $10 to lift the throttle? IMHO, throttling is how they preserve bandwidth, not make more money.
At least with VM, you can renew your month anytime, so if you've been throttled, and want full bandwidth, you can simply pay early. On a standard plan, I don't see how this would work. Do they charge overages? If they are charging overages, they wouldn't want to throttle. They would rather have you pay more, so they want you to use more.

It doesnt matter if its a dead network or not. You still ruin it for others by not following the rules. Thats why they have to make these limitations.
in a couple of years it will not matter because there will be more than enough bandwidth to go around. Just look at what T-Mobile is doing.
but wiimax is unlimited due to the wiimax wholesale agreement.
whatever floats your boat
Why would they state that theres a 2.5gb limit for non tethered payers and a 3.5gb limit for tethered payers on their site, if its unlimited? They also state that they have the power to turn off your cell phone for good and deny you service in the future for not agreeing to their terms, Which is what will happen to you eventually when you get caught.
