Proud of ya!!! I worked in car audio for 5 years and I would always tell customers I would recomend a pro to do it. But it is way easier then people think

I'm going in late to work the morning of the 29th :) Does it matter from a warranty standpoint if you buy a phone in BB vs. VZW store? If not, I guess it's whichever store is closer to you! 2 weeks to go!!
 
I am a little sad this also doesn't come with a pre-installed MicroSD card. I know we have 8GB on the actual phone, but it would have been cool to get 8GB MicroSD or more to match the DROID.
I know..asking too much
 
Is anyone concerend about the rather high radio frequency emissions this phone has? Im buying it anyway but just curious if this 'gas guzzler' of a phone will give us all tumors or what the actual side effects of this are:confused:. I read somewhere that its just below the legal us limit. :(

Also this be my first post! - Loving the forums tho! :D

never in my life installed an aftermarket car stereo, till i did the one in my truck.. had it not been for my access to the factory wiring diagram I couldn't have done it. the one that came with the radio was of no use since it had extra wires my factory harness did not have. Trust me, i've replaced plenty of factory units.. but shit those are easy. plug and pray err i mean plug and play.. no wait. i forgot chrysler radios we're talking about here, plug and pray is more fitting :D... (I'm a Chrysler tech by trade)...
 
We've practically hacked the whole VZW site. Can someone hack it to send me an Incredible overnight so I have it bright and early tomorrow?

Well, the "official" announcement may tip the scale, but since I am on the West Coast, when I wake up on the morning of, I am sure someone on this forum will let me know where to go.;)

Non-ionizing radiation does not cause cancer.
 
I have an odd (&hopeful) feeling with all of these releases and pages uncovered today, that verizon probably isn't going to wait till the 29th to release this phone..an announcement at least feels imminent.

I can't confirm but thats not uncommon either. online and stores like best buy sometimes get new phones before the corporate stores

Haha, on another note, I find carrier bullet point descriptions of phones so underwhelming sometimes, compared to the actual device. What they choose to say, and what they don't say. For example, how it is worth a bulletpoint that the Incredible features a Calculator and Stopwatch. ;) But RAM isn't mentioned.

I know these things mean more to the average consumer, to which the online descriptions are targeted at, but I find it humorous.
