Can I sell my account and keep my number?

I have the Promo $30/month plan, and I'm thinking about selling it, and moving to t-mobile.

Anyone know if it's possible to sell my $30/mo promo plan and keep my number?

You might can call Metro and get a 2nd number thats a temp number. This would allow you to port your number and still keep your account. As you know as soon as you port your number the account associated with it gets terminated. I would call Metro and tell them your plans so they understand you better and they might can work it out for you.

You also might be able to get someone added to the account, with them knowing full well that they will be taking over, and then you could switch to T-Mobile and port your number over. Now, all that to say I don't know if you can do that and if you can, well you stool be able to port the number and the account be active for the other person?

I guess it also begs the question, why do you want to sell the account? What's there to sell any way?

Looks like it might be a plan that doesn't exist anymore so I could see why it would be some value to someone. Or maybe it does, IDK. Not sure what Metro has going on.
