Do tell! That would be a dream come true for me!!!:D

I haven't downloaded it myself yet, but read about it in an article! supposedly you can use google maps (or some map program) to set your phone to a certain ringtone in certain areas...example: silent in the movie theatre. also you can set it to automatically go silent after 11 pm but have it ring if someone (whom you chose) very important is calling.

It sounds pretty amazing to me!

I've read up on it, and it's like $11 or $12 bucks which isn't terrible, but isn't great either. I've also read about an app called tasker, that has similar functions.

HTC does this with Scenes, and check out the Locale app.

Really? Guys that watch the NFL draft are the perfect demo for this phone. They won't announce it then but don't be surprised to see some commercials.

I could definitely see some of the first incredible commercials showing off their nfl app, during the draft.

This thing can't get here soon enough. My Storm 1 is starting to go I think, the buttons on it are starting to get non-responsive. Though, unlike most people, I've never had any problems with it until recently and actually liked the phone. Time for a new phone though!

Dear Androidforums Admin,
I appreciate the fact that you are trying to "fix" things on this site to make them work better and make for a smoother, more efficient user experience. I respectfully request that you do so between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. to minimize F5 withdrawal from your current and future users. I have written similar letters to DOT about road work. They have yet to take my suggestion seriously as they see fit to block of 15 miles of road and work on 1/4 mile at a time during rush hour. Please show that you care, repair in the wee hours of the night while we are dreaming of the Incredible rather than getting our F5 fix.

Sincerely,
A. Dickted Phan

I will be tied to the NFL Draft...just like I'm tied to this thread. So yes I agree, a great place to announce it. But I don't expect it.

No, I don't work for Costco, thats a SURE bet. I stopped there while running errands and asked how they would try to convince me to buy from them in lieu of Verizon. The answer was "Costco will give you free activation and a free accessory bundle"

Last time I was eligible for an upgrade, I checked at Costco and they were the MOST EXPENSIVE place for me to buy. No NE2, no rebates available at all, just like $50 off retail. So I ended up getting it for about $200 less online. Maybe they've changed on those, which would be great.

So will my best bet be to be at a VZW store, or a Best Buy on the 29th?

Hard to say for sure, a few people are saying online and Best Buy only for the 29th and a bit later in store. Not confirmed either way for the in store part.

I am a little sad this also doesn't come with a pre-installed MicroSD card. I know we have 8GB on the actual phone, but it would have been cool to get 8GB MicroSD or more to match the DROID.
I know..asking too much

Ohhhh, not me! I'd MUCH rather have the 8gb built in because it adds more flexibility to the phone and I can buy a 16gb card and immediately jump to 24gb instead of swapping out an 8gb card for 16gb where you don't feel you get the same value because you're only increasing by 8gb.

Could you please delete the pic from your post and repost the watermarked version. We're all wanting to support our beloved AndroidForums/Phandroid and unwatermarked versions will get stolen...

I've heard a lot of great stuff about the Locale app. I'm really excited about it. That, and "Find My Droid".

EDIT: Thanks! vzw+google+htc=:) :D

That's odd, shouldn't it say it supports up to 32GB micro-sd instead of 16GB? Not that I'm even going to need that much, or willing to spend that kind of money, but I thought standard SD was anything up to 4GB, then SDHC meant up to 32GB, not 16GB, and SDXC being upwards of 32GB. Could it be a typo or am I missing something?

Looks like this also confirms the 8GB of on-board memory.

For those looking for info on Flash Lite 4.0 vs Flash 10.1

Adobe Forums: Flash Lite 4.0 vs FP 10 for mobiles

Flash lite 4 is better than no Flash :) I wish my N900 had Flash Lite 4, since newest version (kind of like a lighter Flash 9.4 full version). The 9.4 full version is on my N900 and can be a resource hog. need the GPU support that 10.1 gives. Until then, Flash lite 4 is actually a better version, since less of a resource hog.

You will be surprised how even an OC 3430 and Snapdragon are brought to their knees with some Flash content ;)

Flash lite 4 is good :)

As for watermarking the picture, it's available to anyone, it isn't something that was sent to anon, or phandroid. It's just a link on VZW's site.

I could definitely see some of the first incredible commercials showing off their nfl app, during the draft.

Also remember the "teaser" commercials for the Droid. They led to a page to sign up for more info when it's available.

We could see something similar with the page posted earlier today with the sign up form but with a little less secrecy than the Droid.

If i could only come up with something meaningful to post about for my 500th post...:)

alas, i'll keep thinking...

How about your 500th post being made on 04/24/10 stating "The HTC Droid Incredible will be available for purchase at your local Verizon store tomorrow Aprill 25 2010."

My guess is that when they make these things, for some options there are just check boxes or dropdowns. Since the 32gb is so new, maybe it's just not in their system, yet?

Obviously, I don't work at Verizon, but it was just a thought.

I've seen it where phones say what's available at the time, but it can have more. I haven't been able to find a 32, I think it was only announced to be released.

If those are the specs of the device you played with, then it most certainly wasn't the Incredible.

The Incredible does indeed have a FM tuner and 8gb on board storage.

NKT, nice to see you out and about again on the forums. Thought maybe you were mad at us or something. ;)

Been reading this forum since around February. Just wanted to thank everyone for the inside info. Work prohibits me from posting but not reading. The Incredible will be my first smartphone and I have picked up a lot of great information from this forum. Thanks again to all of the insiders. Steven 58

I would just like to thank Varonaid for having some of the most organized posts I have ever seen. Clean, concise, and to the point. Not like any of mine!:D:D
