Earpiece buzzing

Was wondering if people havevtge fuzzy call quality and buzzing earpiece? Got a nexus 4 in Jan and returned due to this...thinking of switching to T-Mobile and getting a nexus again is this issue resolved?

Mine does it when the phone is inactive but I have to be in a quiet room and really concentrate on the buzzing holding the phone to my ear to actually hear it.

In truth I'd forgotten all about it until I read your post.

I noticed the issue while speaking on the phone...and when on Bluetooth especially

I have a slight buzzing in my earpiece, but I just learned to ignore it. It seems to remain constant no matter the volume setting, which leads me to believe it is interference of some kind.

Does it severely affect your call quality? What network are you on?

I experienced it on both AT&T and T-Mobile so it's definitely a phone defect. Call quality is fine. If I hold the phone a little ways from my ear and turn the volume up it's not even noticeable.

That's odd. Google would probably replace it if you contacted them.

I'm not bothered. If I remember correctly it was a known issue with people suggesting it was causing battery drain.

Like I said, I've really got to try to hear it by putting the earpiece to my ear in a quiet room and then it's really faint.

I get this too. I also noticed unusual sounds that I isolated to the charger when plugged in. Has anyone else experienced that?
