Help Using a prepaid Visa gift card at the Playstore

Hello, I am very new to smartphones etc and never buy off the internet. But I really love Swiftkey, and I want to buy it. I want to use a prepaid Visa gift card. It was declined but it has plenty of money on it. I think it may have been declined because it was asking me my name and address and there is no name or address associated with this card, being the pre-paid type. I entered in my real name etc, but it was still declined.

Does anyone know a solution to this?

I am sorry, this is not exactly Note 2 related, but for me it is because my phone is a Note 2 and this is the only place I know to get answers.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.

ps- I totally LOVE Swiftkey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you added it to your Google Wallet / Payment Methods?

yes.

geesh , and I just checked my transactions- 3 tried now have been cancelled but I checked the actual gift card balance and for each cancellation I have been charge $2.00!!

Purchase - GOOGLE *MARKETPLACE GOOGLE.COM/CHCA

that is what the transaction says. I have no idea where now to go at google to resolve this issue, I have spent $6.00 so far and no Swiftkey.

Can it really be this difficult?

One problem with pre-paid cc's is they can usually only be used for transactions within the US. Many programmers for our apps are out of the country so the card isn't valid with them :-(

I've run into this more than a few times. I'm not sure where you are located but it might be the problem

hmm, I am in Canada. I don't see why the Playstore isn't smart enough? It went through the gift card account because it got deducted $2 for each attempt. It makes no sense to me.
