I say kinda because its just de-Metroed and deodexed. But I did add init.d support. If you flash this and would like to help, test out some scripts on your phone and post the results here for others.

This is the part where I say "....I'm not responsible for you and your device..."

I have flashed this from the external sdcard as well as the internal sdcard

put zip on sdcard
boot into recovery
wipe data factory
install zip from sdcard
reboot

It takes a lil longer the first boot
Slim stock with google now
Download Slimm+.zip

The first boot takes longer (may not if your already running deodexed, that's how it seemed on mine anyway)

Really isn't a need for screenshots as this is basically stock with init.d support.
Init.d scripts (if you have any installed) run on boot from the etc/init.d folder. They are usually performance tweaks.
If anyone has suggestions as to what features or improvements they would like to have on here, I will be happy to look into it and learn something new.

Well, I have been working on an extended power menu. I'm trying to edit current files instead of finding a zip.

Theme chooser is on my list after that.

I'd rather take suggestions for features than use my personal preferences, because my preferences don't really give me anything new to learn as this phone meets most of them.

sounds good cant wait to have theme chooser also you should put a recovery option in the power menu if you could will test anything if needed :)
 
Here are some ideas:

customize able status bar icons. Maybe with a miui charge bar Option. Customize able notification toggles. Date in the notification.
 
Help?? After I factory resetted, I tried to install it from external sd card and it says opening update package then says can't open (location of the zip) then says bad in parenthesis.. Did the same on a zip of jelly bean 4.2 camera which I had to install manually

Where did you have the zip?

ooohhh....
are you trying to apply update from sdcard?
if you are try selecting install zip from sdcard then select zip from external(or where ever you have it)

I'm using shaggy Penguins recovery 6.0.3.0 I think.. It boots (using it now), still has root on it too.. When I first booted it up, I had to register it with google like a new phone because of the reset

You can try turning off the sign verify.
Go into advanced(I think)
Or try to redownload
 
Wow..... Restore from CWM doesn't even work even though I made a backup right before resetting. Says MD5 mismatch.. If that info helps

Can you run down your steps in cwm that you did when you first started to install b4 the problems

Please be as specific as possible as it will help in the explanation on how to fix.. I think I know.
 
If shaggy penguin's cwm is giving you problems then switch to the touch recovery works great lets me backup and restore no problem and havent had any problems with it and best of all ITS TOUCH!! :)
