The Tablet Tavern

I hear ya!
It's always funny when we go on vacation and usually end up somewhere that has a king size bed. We have a small full size here at home so the king is hilarious to sleep in as we're both still used to clinging to the edges for space. :)

I love to travel. I always sleep like a rock away from home. I don't know why, but it always feel so relaxing to wake up in a strange bed.

Alright, just got hit with my first April Fools joke on the Today Show.
The pulled a couple from the crowd with one of those big signs saying "I Love the Today Show"! Whelp, the guy says they'd been together for a long time and then he goes on to propose to her. She get's super emotional, then very upset and tells the hosts "can we cut the cameras". Guy get's nervous and says, "it's okay, sweetie.... you're parents are watching" and finally they break. All a hoax. ;)
Apparently they are part of a improv comedy troupe.

They really duped me. I was like "well this is awkward, she's gonna say no".

I absolutely despise practical jokes and April fools, as if a day or good intentions somehow justify making someone else look foolish.

What's so wrong with making others look like an idiot? :)
There's a place and time to be serious.... I'm just not sure where and when that is. :p

According to my wife (and most of her family) I do that well enough on my own. I don't need any help in that department. :p

Gainsville, GA, Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. .... Now you know. ;)

No, I agree with luna. I even warned my kids... Whoever plays a joke on me will be grounded for 2 weeks. I can't wait for tomorrow :-) thankfully most of my friends are of the same mindset

My son was never into them and my wife knows better. The people at work would NEVER pull a practical joke on the guy who controls the network. :D (If they do, good luck with that email and your Facebook page might "somehow" get deleted... accidents happen. ;) )

I only have one concern. My best friend loves playing practical jokes.

I said it before and I'll say it again. I dislike wearing bras

Then don't.

Ironically, the discussion at Easter dinner yesterday was about bras!

My nephew is getting married this fall and my Sister-in-law (mother of the groom) has this dress with lace shoulders that she wants to wear, but finding the appropriate bra is proving to be a bit of a problem. Her husband (my wife's brother) said she should go braless and all the women thought it was a ridiculous suggestion. I don't get it. They'd rather go through all this trouble and wear something they don't like than be comfortable?
