I agree. Like with anything else a pre-order means you just reserve the product for yourself when release day comes around.
 
waiting on wirefly.com to get it and sale it for $100 :)
i know u have to wait six months before u can upgrade again if i do but...once i get the incredible i will NOT be getting another phone for at least a year an a half. this phone has to be the phone that keeps my interest, i am sure it will!

Posted this yesterday, apparently coolbone went, claims the HTC booth had 2 Incredibles and he held the Incredible in hand, someone around this area could still go to the afternoon session to verify.

This might be a scam, but here it goes...

Currently I have a Dare with the insurance. Can I call up Verizon and report my phone as lost. Then wait till the new one comes in the mail and the INC comes out. Then buy the INC and sell both Dares on ebay?

Sorry if I sound ignorant, I just don't know how it works?

i was gonna say because wireless N is the future and is alot faster this would be so great if it did have it.... it would save so much battery :rolleyes:

That's insurance fraud. Is potential jail time worth saving $100 to you?

Any confidence in N capability? Wouldn't that be a real differentiator they would want to promote?

My confidence is very low about this, although it's been mentioned on a few of the docs. I think it would have to show up here first, and its not:

WiFi "N" Certified

Could be a dumb question, but is this something that could be 'capable' in the hardware and then be made available later with an update?
