I have been playing this game for a while now,and I love it,I have been playing it on a Sony Ericsson Live, but I have now purchased myself a Nexus 7,and was wondering if it's possible to transfer the game,so I can play on the nexus 7. Would be much better playing it on a 7 inch screen, than a 3.2!!

I am up too level 12,and obviously do not want too start from scratch.....

I am assuming you are NOT rooted.

Go and download this app called Carbon Backup. It will backup your gamesave, and then you can transfer the save file across devices.

If you need more help, just ask. But it should be too hard following their step by step guide.

Cheers :)

Ok thanks! So there is no chance of losing my progress by doing this?

Love this game as well. I've spent several hours playing this game. My current level on this game is 10. Still a long way to go.

Has anyone got this game running on an Asus Infinity tablet? It doesn't seem to be available in the Play store so I'm guessing it's not compatible but it should be dammit!

Hi guys, I currently am playing this game (which I LOVE - sooo amazing) and they recently came out with an update 4.2. I had to reset my phone recently, but I had created a backup of the game with Titanium Backup. I was and still am rooted on a Galaxy Note II, ICS 4.1.1.

I restored the app and the data and could play it just like normal, but if I wanted to update to the new version of the game, it would start me over to the beginning. I'm guessing this has to do with the android ID or something?

Previously when I was playing with the hack app, once I reset my phone and restored my Simpsons Tapped Out backup, it wouldn't recognize it as my main save. I could use both programs and play two different games!

Now that the update is out, which incorporates Origin login finally, it's not recognizing my save. Is there a way to replace the save file somewhere on my phone and update it with the backup I have? As I said, I am rooted so I can move things and all that wonder if necessary. I had also used an app to switch my android ID back to what the backup has, but this did not work. Help!

its one of teh new "bugs" in the latest version a lot of people have had their entire towns wiped out. you are lucky enough to have a backup. its things like this that have caused EA to be voted the worst company in the world for two years running. i think they wanted to secure the 2013 vote as well The Voters Have Spoken: EA Is Your Worst Company In America For 2012!

HA! I just read that. I'm not really surprised. With all the trouble I have with Mercenaries 2, Sims, Spore, etc...Why don't they listen to us?!

I figured there was a bunch of people with this problem. I had been searching around all day yesterday for a fix. I guess I could just keep playing my old game until they fix it (PSH RIGHT) or just move it to my tablet and restart on my phone....so sad :(

They recently updated the game with origin or something like that, long story short you can add friends so.....share ya names so I can add y'all

Backing up your save game no longer works as of the latest "Whacking Day" update. Unless I misunderstood the change, by transitioning over to the Origin ID, EA has also effectively transitioned your save game to their online server. So, backing up or restoring the files on your phone serves no purpose. The only save that is valid is the one that resides on EA's servers. This also prevents people from hacking their save games. But it does mean that the OP now has the ability to move his game from one device to another...unfortunately, it's a little late for him.

One handy tip I found to avoid accidentally spending Donuts (although I've done it once or twice also) is to tap the Dollar Signs, Menus, etc. to harvest the items. But do NOT tap on the "XP" or "cash" which is revealed. If you just wait about 10 seconds, the game will automatically collect them for you. This should train you to stop rapid-fire tapping and accidentally open up a task and pressing the purchase button for donuts.

Here's my origin ID as well for anyone who wish to add me: precipicec

I need more friends to whack more snakes and get more eggs! In order to achieve 12,500 snakes...you'll have to collect over 400 snakes a day. I figure that the only people who don't spend donuts can achieve all the prizes would be to have over 50 friend's cities.
