Root [Sprint] Easy Rooting

How to root my Samsung Galaxy Victory? I have tried OneClickRoot but the software is too out of date for my phone. Though it would be nice because it does all the work. I have downloaded .zip files that forums on this site has told me. But to be honest it is turning into a lot of work. The files will not stay on my SD card. I have trouble understanding a lot the the terminology.:confused:
So is there anyone that can break "rooting" down for me?
I would greatly appreciate it if someone could dumb it down for me on how to root my phone.:)

I'd recommend taking it step by step and then post what you're having trouble with. This root shouldn't be very hard. If your sd card isn't working right maybe you could try moving the files to internal storage?

Well every time I try to transfer my SuperSU and Busybox zip files to my SD card a error pops up says the files cannot be read, something is wrong with the disk. hen my SD card says it isn't plugged in so I have to redo it all. Never works Should I unzip the files?

Give me a hand on my other thread? Just general questions on rooted devices. Reasons i rooted my device any ways.
