Root Warrenty return phone

Does anyone know if I change my phone (problem with all callers sounding like Stephen Hawkins) if I can use a Nandroid backup of it in a new one? I plan to activate, then root and put CWM on it. I would like to just restore than nandroid backup I did on the phone before returning it, but I don't know if it stores any of the internal workings of the phone in the backup, this corrupting a different device?
 
Just did a spot check with the 2 other Elite owners at church this morning, and they too have the Stephen Hawkins syndrome. Anyone else suffer from this or know a solution?

on to more important issues, you mean ppl on the other end of your phone sound like robots / voice modulation software? have you and your friends at chuch all recently downloaded the same thing?

The church people were still on stock. One guy said its been like this for the last two months, the other one, like me, is new to the phone and its been like this since we bought it.

It sounded much better on my triumph.
 
Its the network. My phone worked great for a few months then suddenly went like it but only in my home area, when I travel it is fine. They sent me a replacement and it did the same thing. I paid for 1 more month if it isn't fixed in May I am switching carriers.

my thoughts exactly, especially if you and your friends are on VM since they are i BELIEVE third place on the sprint network ( behind sprint, then boost mobile) . the only thing that links 3 different phones purchased at different times and used by 3 different people is the network you are all on.

edit : re-reading your post this part in particular sells me on the network fault :
